The Red Lion in Shropshire

Had a fantastic teatime meal and drinks here. We were among the first diners to arrive and were served with drinks within minutes. Within 20mins we had lovely hot fresh and tasty meals!Cannot fault the service, the food or anything really! A very good experience and is highly recommended.

Called by for lunch. Service and food cannot be faulted. Had extra attention when ordering for a disabled member of the party- much appreciated.

This is our local and so we go regularly. Shropshire Gold is always devine and the food in the restaurant is top notch. The 'belly bites' are yummy.

Lovely food priced about right. Service was excellent and the young staff very knowledgeable regarding the menu. Just one thing was the whole place really lacked any atmosphere. But still worth 5 stars.

I have just been here as my hotel was not offering any meals. The welcome was incredibly warm and although they were really busy, they found me a quieter table in the lounge. The service was excellent and the chicken curry and naan were really delicious. I would heartily recommend this pub for both it’s food, the welcome and the ambience.

Hidden gem. Everything a country pub should be. Friendly, accommodating and relaxed. Staff are unassuming and efficient, happy to help and a credit. Food was really on the money. No bells and whistles or style over substance, just bloody good ingredients and bloody good cooking. Compliments to all involved!

Very impressed. Nice inside and a great outside seating area for when the sun is out. They could do more with it, but ad we all know ,it's been a tough year for pubs.Menu looks great, we will be back to try it.
