First weekend open after their winter break and brilliant again. Great menu, proper food for children and lots of attention given to the vegetarian options. Can't wait to go back.

·

Nicely located pub along the river, although you need someone who knows where they're going to get there. Sadly they couldn't make us food for an hour so could only have drinks

·

Call here every time we are travelling South lovely area right on the river and the steam train passes through nice outside seating food always good🙂

Stopped off here for lunch whilst canoeing down the river from Bridgnorth to Arley. There were 5 of us and we ate from the deli menu. Beautiful ciabattas, amazing chips and a lovely pot of tea. A special mention to the young man who served us, a credit to the place. Will definitely visit again, brilliant value for money.

Rubbish service took over hour to order 6 drinks and food took even longer for sandwiches, will not be returning in a hurry.-----Many thanks for your reply, to aid in a true reflection I'm glad you observed the canoeists, however I did not arrive on a canoe as that would have been irresponsible with a 3 week old baby and a dog that can't swim! I may have joined a table of friends that had been on the canoes as guided to by your staff. If others HAD pre booked it would have been nice to have been informed of this fact and the longer than expected wait time and I would have gladly made an alternative arrangments.I feel that in this scenario better communication would have been key. To a more pleasurable experience, along with greater allergen information supplied on arrival. To reflect on your response I have also amended the rating. Many thanks.

Place looks a bit run down but don't let that put you off as the food and service is very good. Came out stuffed and not able to eat any more.

·

Food great on the daily menu... Sunday dinner pretty poor cold food. On a whole slow service. Beautiful surroundings. Would go back but wouldn't order the Sunday lunch again.

·

Lovely quiet secluded pub and restaurant where you can eat in and out.An interesting and varied medium priced menu. I would recommend the sandwiches, which are very large, and come with fries and side salad and are reasonably priced.A good selection of ales are served. The interior dining area is very nicely designed with a modern smart clean look.Large car park on site.
