Recently moved to the area and seeing as it was my birthday and the fact the wife works here 😂 we thought we would come here for my bday meal. We brought our 2 monsters and my ageing parents along aswell. I "hop"ted for the toad in the hole (never had toad before and to be fair, it tastes alot like pork sausages). Everyone enjoyed their meals and all plates were empty at the end. I would post a pic of the meals, but I didn't take one 😂 We will definitely come again, but will try the frog next time after having toad tonight 😂🐸😉

Nice cozy pub. Food is good. Could do with warming the plates up though to keep the food warm longer, as a little feedback.

We arrived for a post funeral gathering and were greeted warmly, one area had been set aside for us. The buffet was laid out and the hot items brought out as we arrived so beautifully fresh. Drinks were put out as requested and the service was excellent, staff were on hand when needed but gave us the space to chat with our guests. Excellent value. We look forward to returning for one of their Sunday lunches soon. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Nice two course afternoon meal. But there is a buzzer to let staff know to collect meai for customers so so annoying and loud

The management here used to be at a pub in Clun, and Clun's loss is most definitely Burford/Tenbury's gain! They know how to keep their beer, the staff are all courteous and polite, and it's a really lovely old fashioned pub, which for me, is just the way a pub should be. Lots of dark beams, homely decor, low ceilings, perfect! The food is excellent - depending on what you are looking for. This is what I call proper pub food. It's not pretentious, it's not fancy, and you'll get a portion that won't leave you hungry. It is tasty, will fill you up, and leave you ready for a nap! The Sunday lunches are the best in my opinion for miles and miles around! Put it this way, we've travelled 40 minutes and passed many other pubs to be here today! I'm a big gravy fan, and this is the best roast gravy I've ever had, it's lip smackingly great! If a proper pub, with proper pub food and good beer is your thing, definitely get this place on your 'must visit' list.

Typical pub grub. Food is not as good quality as previous owners but you a lot more food now so makes up for it somewhat

This is a proper country pub, very dog friendly which is always a bonus. Nice clean place, with bookcases and books on beer. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food on the other hand is, absolutely perfect. The Mega mixed grill is a very full plate of happiness, with nothing else you could wish for on, all well cooked to perfection and no space left on the plate. My sister had the sirloin steak when was cooked just as required, the meats were tasty from start to finish. If you are in this area I would highly recommend it

Fabulous place, loved our room.. Staff and owners are fabulous too, nothing too much trouble. Food is fantastic, only criticism would be to use better quality sausages for breakfast. Sunday lunches are so tasty, definitely will stay again.

Great pub, plenty of Gluten free bottled beer's to choose from and a good selection of beers and other drinks, food is very good and plenty of it, we will be back next time we are in the area.

First time we went to the Rose and Crown in Tenbury Wells. Beautiful pub. Staff very warm and welcoming very well laid out. Both inside and outside. Went back on the Sunday and wow we were watching the Sunday lunches that came out was mouth watering and very good value for money. But book first very busy. 5 star
