Glad to see Paul’s place back open again with the best chippy around. Lovely food and all at reasonable prices. Welcome back. Some very cheerful, and pleasant new staff too as well as some of the lovely previous staff.

Fantastic. Very busy as usual but worth the wait. Excellent Haddock and chips. Highly recommend.

The BEST chips in Shrewsbury by a mile!!! Cheesy chips were delicious and chicken and chips with bbq sauce were lush!!! x

Please come back guys - so sad to see the shop boarded up. Best fish & chips in town.

·

It's the only fish and chip bar I would recommend to people outside of Cornwall. Homemade foods, perfect portion sizes and perfect chips. I wouldn't normally rate or even recommend chip shops, but this one is special and leaves you actually feeling nourished rather than many others (higher quality cooking, fats etc) . If you Compare the prices you would pay for food this good in restaurants its an absolute steal, its in another league compared to most other chippys, very reasonably priced for what you get!

Just had what was supposed to be large cod and chips twice, small cod and chips and 2 large sausage and chips. It's normally really good, but tonight, the cod has really let us down. The small cod is more batter than fish. The 2 large cod are very thin, hard and chewy. Couldn't eat it. The chips and curry sauce are good though. However, we will be going elsewhere for our cod from now on. Very disappointed.

This happens to be my local, however, it's probably the best fish and chips shop I know of anywhere. Seems strange and probably biased, but every where else I go lacks in comparison. The fat the chips are cooked in is notably good, and when I'm eating, I always notice how fresh the fish tastes.

Greatest chippy in town, they actually know how to make chips unlike most places.Anything you buy from here will be of the finest quality and cooked to perfection.Give this place an award already.

Great chippy in a convenient location. It offers the standard fair that chippies do but does have a few unique items on the menu. Even the curry sauce, they offer a slightly more spicier version if you want it. Parking can be an issue at peak times.
