The Squirrel in Shropshire

Went to a wedding here. Drink prices seemed good and it's local would make a nice place to have a trip out to on a warm summers evening

Denise behind the bar is fantastic, she knows how to deal with customers, she's cute and funny.

A very nice place, came for a meeting, will come back to eat.

Visited the Squirrel pub for the first time today. Had a fantastic Sunday lunch. Bar staff very friendly and allowed our little dog in out of the hot sun. Will definitely visit again.

Popped into The Squirrel pub in Alveley for a “quick pint” on the way home from a day out. What a pleasant surprise! This traditional, country pub has a welcoming open fire which not only adds to the charm of the place but compliments the welcome by the licensee Alan. Even though it was the first time my mate and I had visited the pub Alan and the “locals” made us feel instantly at home.The selection of cobs on offer were too great to resist and at £2.00 I don’t think I have seen better value anywhere! There is also a good menu if you wanted something more substantial.As an aside this place has a cracking room at the rear which houses a pool table and skittles, ideal for a group night out.It means driving to get to this pub but now that I have discovered its hidden charms I shall be visiting again very soon!

Brilliant Meal. Lovely people. Good service. Plenty to eat. Cosy atmosphere. You will go away feeling completely satisfied. Really worth a visit.
