The Talbot Country Inn in Shropshire

Booked Sunday lunch, they took our number but when we arrived there was no chef, no food. No body bothered to inform us! Pub quite quaint inside. Hopefully for them it was a blip, as there seem to be some good reviews.

Nice friendly warm pub , now the pub is under new management Pam does a excellent job, great staff always polite ,lots of friendly locals and never felt out of place .

A great pub with some serious history. I can vouch for the Green Monkey having enjoyed a few pints of it. The menu looks good and the new landlord is looking to keep updating it and sourcing a lot of local produce. We wish them well and look forward to visiting again.

Fabulous old pub, with original features, exposed brickwork and beams. Warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Didn't have the opportunity to try the food, but a friend has told me it is really good. Look forward to trying it next time.

Lovely pub. Good looked great

Beautiful old pub, fantastic staff. We booked an early breakfast for a large family group and the staff were very accommodating and pleasant, and the food was good. It's a lovely traditional and cosy pub, with lots of exposed beams and low ceilings (a lovely experience for our extended American family), and comfortable booth seats (at least where we were seated). The staff even helped us take photos of the whole family group and were endlessly helpful. Service was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We'll definitely try to go back for lunch/dinner before too long. Thank you again.
