Lovely staff, and quiet comfortable rooms. Superb breakfast, and great hearty evening meals. It's not haute cuisine but all well cooked and the vegetables on the side beautifully done.I would have given it straight fives but for the instant coffee in the self serve machine. How about a bean to cup? Or at least a Nespresso?Nevertheless fantastic value, would definitely look at staying ther again

Visited today. Three of us looking for a coffee in an outdoor area. Coffee and hospitality were great. Decided to have lunch too. So glad we did!!! Food lovely, service friendly and quick. Really nice visit. Thank you. We’ll be back soon.

A fab pub timeless. If you want to see a typical classic old style. Doddy 5 stars this is the place to be chill and enjoy the old town. We stayed very comfortable lovely food. Recommend the pie of the day.

Dropped in early, opens at 11:30 and it was 11:32am for great coffee and a much needed cup of tea - great speedy service, nicely presented and better than any local cafe - other customers soon arrived (a good sign!) Plenty of chat, in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We're definitely coming back

Popped in for a last minute carvery on Sunday lovely cosy place, great service and friendly staff. Cant wait to return.

The Talbot is an old establishment in the middle of town with low ceilings and an open log fire in the grate. We had nice cooked lunches of lasagne and fish pie chosen from a decent menu. I look forward to returning to the Talbot Inn and spending more time in Much Wenlock.

Lovely pub with solid, home style food. Reasonable prices and great service. I would definitely recommend a visit.
