The White Horse Inn in Shropshire

Absolutely cracking pub. My partner and I came across this gem on a long distance walk and would highly recommend. Beautiful pub. Really friendly staff and customers. We felt welcomed, looked after and enjoyed the ales brewed right there at the pub. This pub puts the community and soul in not only Clun but hospitality itself. We shall return!

2nd time of staying as have a regular contract in area, first time was amazing amazing stay. 2nd time received rather rude service. How can a bar without table reservations showing suddenly tell you to vacate a table you have been sitting at all afternoon, as someone else suddenly wants it, ? Would not have been as bad if we had not booked a table earlier in the day, when we were already sitting at it. Taken from a lively pub atmosphere and dumped in a silent side room. Nice way to treat staying guests.

The staff here were very friendly cheerful and accommodating. Breakfast buffet offered with a breakfast menu aswell. Free WiFi and outdoor seats. The rooms are spacious and cosy with a view out on the high street. Parking is available too. The food was fantastic and the menu offers plenty! Highly recommended

Lovely pub with very friendly staff. The chap who runs it and his family are lovely. When in Clun we shall definitely be returning.

We stayed for two nights. Lovely renovated traditional room and very clean. Traditional pub food with loads of beers (they also have their own brewery). Staff and owner very friendly and all at very reasonable costs.

Simple straightforward pub. We had the ploughman's which was very filling and tasty. Roasts looked good too. Nice atmosphere and a good mix of locals and tourists mingling well together.

Came here with my husband and rescue dog as we were looking for somewhere to eat and drink which was dog friendly!! Lovely home cooked meals which were delicious and hot and so nice to sit out in the sunshine!! Would have been nice to sit up on the grass area but no dogs are allowed!!

Nice tasty Seabass new potatoes and salad. Several pints of their own beer Clun. Only downside is don't sit near the rear door it SLAMS VERY LOUD every few minutes it definitely needs a dampener.
