The White Lion Llyncis in Shropshire

The regular pub to stay for a meal after a long trip but it could do with a bit of refurbishment as the male toilet was a bit unkempt and out of use. Staff was nice and friendly, the food was tasty (for a pub) a good ppace to have a meal if nothing else is available.

Stayed over in motorhome in car park for free just had to buy a meal. Got there as they had finished serving but kindly offered to sort food for us. Be aware food not served all the time and on busy main road.

We was wary at first because it always seems quiet and changes hands alot....But we was hungry so we gave it a try...and I'm glad we did.Food was fresh, tasty and best of all a decent portion for a fair price. The chef does a great job.The staff were friendly and very helpful.Highly recommend the placeWe will definetly go again

A really really friendly welcome to this crossroads pub. The landlord, landlady, dog and the pet chicken were fantastic hosts, clean and tidy inside and out, food was fantastic. They have caravan and camping pitches out the back which we hadn't used but I did get a look at. Would come back for a few pints if I wasnt driving! What a place 😊

Not entirely sure why this place has a 5 star review, the food must be absolutely outstanding, but we wouldn't know. Just walked in, no greeting, no apparent table service nothing. The lad behind the bar was just casually polishing cutlery not even took notice! Sat there for 10 minutes waiting patiently on a Saturday night and no interaction from the staff at all. Cya.

Spotted this place on way home from north Wales looking for a bite to eat. Couldn't have been luckier the New owner had just begun refurbishment fitted us in & the food was great as well as the hospitality very accomodating Recommend

Popped in on a busy bank holiday monday afternoon. The staff were extremely helpful, putting us on an already reserved table and juggling his plan. The food is excellent and freshly cooked. The beer is also excellent. Generally excellent..... Recommended.

We went to the White Lion today at lunchtime . Myself husband and sister in law . We just had lunch .I had steak egg chips peas salad and mushrooms.....cooked to perfection no faults at all.My husband had chicken ham pie chipsPeas carrots red cabbage yummy he loved it.My sister in law had the pork sausages mash onion gravy......she loved it.we were all full so didn't go for dessert but I'm sure that the desserts would have been lovely.Service was great. Friendly happy atmosphere .Landlord very welcoming which is nice.I have no hesitation in recommending the pub .go along and try it you won't be disappointed.

I've lived around the corner from The White Lion for almost 5 years and never ventures in, until today.Some of the items are quite expensive. I had the chicken and ham pie with chips and veg. They were a bit skimpy with the veg!!Pie was home made and very tasty. Price was £9.95.A word of warning though, it's the only restaurant I've been too that I've had to say the food is too hot. Took a mouthful of the pie and it was like molton lava!!I now have a blister (so does my husband) interested roof of my mouth.Nice and clean inside. Outside could do with a bit of attention.Will definitely go back.

Amazing food, you have to try proper chips! Atmosphere is really good, staff very helpful. Pub is so caring you can find deodorant, hair spray and lady's essentials in female restroom.
