The Woodberry Inn in Shropshire

Had a wonderful stay after issues with a certain website, staff were extremely helpful and cannot praise them enough. Room was lovely and breakfast was fab! We are looking to go back in September really looking forward to it a gem of a hotel! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely inn very conveniently located close to Bridgnorth high street. Clean rooms, great breakfast and lovely staff! We forgot our jackets and they kindly went out to their way to get it back to us.

Disappointing! Atmosphere and staff pleasant. Although we booked a 3pm meal so possibly to be expected, meat choices were limited, no beef and only 2 pork meals left. There was no fish on the menu and no GF vegetarian option. Instead there was only 1 quite disgusting, stodgy vegan vegetable bake. Vegetarians are not vegans and should be given at least one choice. Chef you need to offer a better choice on your menu. The menu you publish on your website is nothing like we were offered!I appreciate that the restaurant was busy and margins have to be met, but at another well recommended establishment nearby the chef always endeavours to offer a freshly cooked alternative.

Fabulous stay here for a wedding. Huge room (The Cartway) very clean, bright and airy . Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious. Staff were exceptional too.

A fantastic pub with great staff and service with lovely food, we were also allowed to park our campervan on the car park overnight, would highly recommend, we'll definitely be going back again, 5 star all the way.

Lovely clean and spacious pub with separate restaurant and bar area and good garden area. Friendly staff and food was excellent. I had fish and chips which was perfect. Huge fish in lovely crisp light batter and fish cooked perfect. My husband had cajun chicken which was also good. Beers were perfect. As we had never been here before we were impressed and will go again.

Had a great stay, room was large, clean & comfortable & the food was excellent.All the staff were extremely helpful & very pleasant.Great location with free parking.

Awful experience, went for a birthday 11 people. Had to pre order waited an hour for food which came out sporadically. My burger and bun were cremated, the only thing that was edible was the coleslaw. Another guest had a sauce which was curdled. My partners meal, which was just an omelette never turned up at all. Would not recommend this place to any

So it was me and my wife's wedding anniversary and we decided to go out for the day with a view to calling in somewhere on the way home for a bite to eat and the Woodberry was on our list of potential places to call in .It was a Wednesday night in March and when we found the place the surroundings were just off a side road in Bridgnorth near house's but I must say once inside it was a lovely pub with a cosyey atmosphere ,the staff were friendly and the menu looked inviting and not to pricy, our starters came quickly and then the mains all very well presented and cooked absolutely top notch food .So no real complaints we did not have a drink or stay overnight but we will definitely go back one day .Excellent service and good grub!

Went for Sunday dinner, food was good I had no complaints. I had s flat white which was perfect. Staff were working very hard to please and always happy to answer a question. The price was average for a pub meal. The layout inside was nice and I'd happily go again. Car park was large and image it would be nice to sit on a bench outside in the summer.
