Character pub with an old fashioned bar, dog friendly and a comfortable, wood panelled lounge bar. Coal fires now replaced by log burners in both but still add to the atmosphere, as do the bar staff.Two outside areas to enjoy that have award winning flower beds and displays.Now serving hot and cold snacks meals (toasties, panini, sandwiches) from 4pm to 6pm.Regular beers from Shropshire and Yorkshire on cask.

Good beer, really friendly staff, table service too. What more could you want? Bar and lounge and a lovely outdoor area too.

Hadn't been in there but have started to drink in there landlord and landlady very welcoming lovely pub great atmosphere made to feel very welcome by other regulars as well certainly would recommend

Very nice pub, great interior. Selection and prices of drinks is decent, very attentive staff.

Cracking pub, friendly, great woodburning (what else would you expect) stoves and excellent ales.

Excellent pub. A proper "local" which has been run by the fabulous Robin & Lynne for many a long year. Not a "dining pub" although they will rustle up a very nice roll, ciabatta or panini if you need. However, their selection of ales & ciders is 2nd to none & their outdoor terraces are an extremely peaceful retreat. Great atmosphere & lovely roaring fires to get yoy through the long winter months. Highly recommended 👌

What an amazing place. The landlord could not have been more welcoming or helpful. If you like real ale / a good pint, a clean, welcoming pub, this is a must. Why have I not been here sooner!

Honestly couldn’t recommend this spot highly enough. Such a lovely relaxed vibe, comfy surroundings, great range of beers, wines and spirits. Even has a couple of wood burners for that cozy wintery vibe. The landlord Robin is also a highlight, a lovely man! 11/10
