Great beer, great food, a warm and friendly welcome and a beautifully relaxed atmos, what's not to like?

Haven't visited for some years, in fact since the ghastly former landlord was there! Now the service is welcoming, cheerful and efficient. Great range of beers, ciders, wines are other drinks. The food is delicious. It's all home cooked and generous portions. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience, had a sports team meal here, looked after brilliantly. Made to feel welcome and the food was amazing. Finished off with a fabulous coffee.

Had a lovely birthday meal on 7th May 22 while staying nearby. We all enjoyed the food and the service was excellent.

Great food. Fantastic staff. Pleasant atmosphere.

No atmosphere and long wait times for food. Burger was bland and bun was chewy, No side salad just band thick and mushy chips. Scampi was watery and Cod and chips was all batter and the fish was tasteless. Waffles were rock hard and took ages to arrive. Lemon tart was fresh from a packet but tasted okay. Sorbet was good though!Overall i wouldn’t recommend to anyone, Sorry yew tree.

Superb prawn cocktail for starter. The main, Scampi with triple cooked chips mushy peas also so tasty! Order taken and served by lovely friendly young man.Hubby had garlic mushrooms, very nice. He then had the pie of the day which he said was really nice. Myself, Hubby and our dog were out for day and came across this lovely friendly pub. Will go again when passing that way.

Lovely food. Warm and comfortable atmosphere. Friendly staff. Decent coffee. Definitely would come again. Easy enough access from the main road.
