Walker's Bakery and Tea Room in Shropshire

Good old fashioned service, excellent food, highly recommended.

Sandwiches were good, we had Coronation Chicken & Prawn & Crab. Building is old & quirky with sloping floors upstairs. Counter Service (ordering then paying afterwards) was a little slow though due to being busy.

A trip out to Whitchurch and called for a tea, noticed they did one of my favourites liver and onions so came back later yum yum ,let our friendly dogs in too

I had a nice lunch here today, reasonably priced and good service. Everywhere looked very clean. Cafe is upstairs, so didn't look to be wheelchair friendly.

Quite busy over Saturday lunchtime to eat in upstairs but food was quick and delicious.

Bakers and teashop with an old fashioned feel, with a good selection of cakes. Hot food served til mid afternoon.

I have been impressed with the place, good food and good quality at very reasonable prices. I do recommend.

Traditional - and therefore the best. Super full English, reasonably priced, served with kindness. Nothing could be more highly recommended.

I don't want to leave this review but I'm sick and tired of the rude unwelcoming staff behind the hot counter! Also the sandwiches are nice depending on who's making it or what mood there in. Such a shame because the place is lovely.

Looking for a sweet treat, myself and girlfriend wondered into this establishment..To our surprise we was greeted with a cold and unwelcoming "can I help you!".After receiving this unpleasant vibe we immediately turned around and walked out.Guess they didn't want our money?The store was inviting from the outside but now wishing we didn't bother.Kindness costs nothing.
