Wem Town Hall Cafe Bar in Shropshire

Lovely Town Hall in the centre of Wem, parking available at the local Co-op a short walk away. Downstairs there is a very large room, upstairs a smaller room. A lovey cafe offers refreshments and light bites.

The best place to see films in Shropshire. Good selection of films with friendly and helpful staff and volunteers. Delicious snacks and drinks.

The Wem Town Hall is a very busy venue. It holds an indoor Market, it runs films, which are really popular. It has a very good cafe in place. There is a lift to the first floor, where there is a room that is used for various interests.

Superb community hub! A great space which is versatile enough to do dance classes, theatre and cinema. The cafe is super and with friendly staff, what more could you need! Thanks to all!

Very well re furburbished building to community use cafe is fine s good cup of coffee shame it took nearly a quater of an hour to arrive at the table.

Was disappointed that they have decimated the menu down to one admittedly delicious looking cake and snacks in wrappers

Good to see Wem Town Hall working well in these times. From here the meals on wheels service is being run in this crisis. Well organized use of volunteers. Flexible responsive and caring. Delivering quality food from local caterers including their own in house cafe team. I expect MBE's for these selfless people Mr Johnson, in due course. I am sure our "servant for the whole of her life" gracious Queen will be delighted to bestow such recognition.

Just been to Phil Glass live relay in Wem town hall .. great show and venue very comfortable along with an excellent cheese and biscuit supper..thank you very much!

We regularly use this charming venue - not fancy, but clean, good film selections and some good live acts. Catering is adequate but not OMH standard, with some superb exhibitions in the gallery as a bonus. Great value.
