Whixall Marina Cafe in Shropshire

We stayed in a Lodge, beautiful accommodation, spotless, very well equipped. Lovely location, Marina is very well kept. Friendly staff. Loved it so much we are returning again next month.

Lovely little hidden spot for lunch, cake, coffee. Staff were welcoming and polite. Lovely view and covered outside seating.

Lovely lunch at the Marina today. Food was lovely, nicely presented and reasonable. Sat chatting watching the boats outside in the sunshine. Indoor seating also available.

What a clean tidy and well kept marina! We hired a boat for the week (our 10th trip at least, but the first from here) and were impressed with the cafe, handover staff and the boat itself. Lovely situation.

A lovely narrow boat marina in the heart of the Shropshire country side. An ideal base for walking and cycling and a friendly café with both breakfast and snacks available over looking the marina.

This place is sooooooooo very peaceful ,very clean ,smashing cafe ,amazing clotted cream scones in your fridge on arrival ,beware you may hear a duck quack now and again.🙉Whitchurch and Shrewsbury are nearby such lovely places to.visit,the bull and dog pub is very close and serves amazing food .We will be returning.

Incredibly helpful staff - especially Dave the manager who went above and beyond to support me as a new boater. Wonderful quiet location with great amenities and lovely cafe. Highly recommend!

We recently shifted our boat to the Marina.Right from the off we knew it was a good move.The staff are very friendly and helpful, the facilities are excellent.If you are a narrow-boater and looking for moorings on the Llangollen Canal, I’d recommend this place.

Great place to stop for a cooked breakfast or light meal. Ample parking. Cafe is clean and bright, helpful staff and great view across the marina.
