Wishing Star in Shropshire

I fancied a change from hotel food so thought I'd give this place a try after driving past it all week. I'm glad I did, for the princely sum of £9.50 I bagged chicken balls, beef and vegetables, boiled rice and sweet 'n' sour sauce. This is classed as dinner for one but I'd say it would easily feed two.If I'm ever in the area again I will be back. I would highly recommend Wishing Star.

Delicious food but why cash only still?????

This is the BEST Chinese I have ever had. I have tried various others in Telford and now I have tried nearly all of them in Shrewsbury. Nothing compares. Even though I no longer live in shifnal I drive all the way from Shrewsbury to get it

The best Chinese in Shifnal, tried them all. Can recommend crispy chilli beef, sweet and sour chicken, duck fried rice, duck chow mein, satay chicken

The food from this takeaway is most definitely so of the best Cantonese food I have ever eaten, great ingredients, full of flavour would most definitely recommend this takeaway to anyone.

Today was my first visit to Wishing Star and I will certainly be back One of the best Special Chow Mein’s I’ve tasted

Amazingly tasty prob best Chinese I have had in years and so much packed in the containers easily enough for 2 maybe free and free Prawn Crackers , the restaurants down south could learn a lot from these gûys

Best Chinese in Telford woman on phone is always polite every time I order and very quick never longer then 10 mins for my food to be ready ! Cash only but 100% worth it every time

We absolutely love wishing star, we drive the 8 miles to order from this takeaway, the food is amazing quality the Cantonese style steak is divine, the chicken fried rice packed with chicken, this is our favourite Chinese takeaway, clean and tidy waiting area aswell. So glad you guys are open again.
