Always gets a lovely Sunday lunch from the Bucks, Johns beef and lamb just pulls apart and who doesn't love cauliflower mash? Amazing portion sizes and homemade gravy.

A traditional English pub one time coaching inn , with accommodation.Great place to stay close to town and with pleasant riverside walk to the spacious green tree edged Quarry park.The food is good quality home cooked English, served up in a cosy atmosphere.Good range of ales and drinks. But what makes any good pub is the service. Staff at the Bucks are relaxed and friendly.Next summer we will definetly grab a drink and soak up the sun in the garden or sun terrace.
