Ye Olde Bull Ring Tavern in Shropshire

Called in here on a whim for a bite to eat & a drink when visiting.Lovely staff and very reasonably priced.A couple of starters and a couple of mains plus two soft drinks for £48AND probably the best squid we have ever tasted.Our compliments to the chest and all the staff.If and when we are back up that way, we’ll definitely call in again.

The staff were friendly, but the food was far from it. I Ordered the soup, which arrived at our table really quick! within a couple of minutes and it was cold at the bottom of the bowl and like warm at the top. They microwaved it warm and served it back to me. I ordered the veg tart for my mains and it arrived burnt chared, with the top layer black, and the chips to the side were not cut chips but small crispy potato left over bits that you would scoop out from the bottom of a fryer. Suffice to say this experience wast not what I expected, and I would've given them zero star or at a push 1 if it wasn't our for the friendly waitress.

Fantastic venue and the food was excellent. Friendly service. Got very busy but we were there on a Saturday lunchtime so that's fair enough. Highly recommended. Will def go back when we return to Ludlow.

Stopped off for a drink to ludlow races friendly staff good selection of drinks. Also coffee bar in there cakes look delicious

Best place to go in town for food as very reasonably priced, good meals and fantastic staff. Kelly, Natalie and a young gent served me on Saturday evening and they are all friendly, helpful and enthusiastic/energetic. Much better service than other places in town. Thank you.

Great pub, super warm welcome. Food was absolutely marvellous, so tasty, good size portions, hot a served with a smile. Sian was like sunshine and very helpful. Made a lovely evening :-)

The pub is lovely, the staff is friendly and helpful, we had the homemade lasagna, and they were delicious. The cider was also excellent.

Very decent place. Been wanting to try here for awhile. Was very enjoyable. Nice staff and the vegetable tart was lovely. Had a very nice vibe to the place.
