Costa Coffee in Solihull

This afternoon (7th July) at 15:00h, I visited Costa Coffee inside Touchwood Mall (SOLIHULL- Inside the mall).My wife and I checked the cakes and wanted to order. So we asked the lady at the cashier (lady with tattoos ) to come to show her what we would like to order.I was really shocked from her response; she said: “You come here, can’t you see where is the cashier?!”.I felt it is very rude from her, so asked her again calmly to go to select the cake we want. She then said: “can’t you read the cake name? All of it are labeled”I tried to stay calm as well as my wife until this lady said that we are stupid and rude.During the years being customer to Costa Coffee, I have never been insulted like today; I don’t expect to be treated that way.Every time I visit Costa Coffee, I feel welcomed and nicely treated. But today, I was really very disappointed. I left the shop without ordering and the only thing this lady said is: “Even better”!I don’t know what is her problem or how was her day or maybe she is racist! No idea.The only thing I know is that as a Costa Coffee client, I need to be treated with respect.I went outside the mall to the other Costa Coffee branch and had my coffee and saw huge difference. Smiling welcoming faces…

A busy branch that is kept well organised and tidy. Staff are hard working and helpful and the branch offers the usual range of Costa products.

Lovely friendly staff. Their coffee is the most expensive among the major High Street coffee providers.

Lady with Tattoos (I believe the manager) got ridiculously angry when I asked for a fork.. swore at me under her breath.. then I said thank you and she ignored me.. saw several other customers laugh on their way out saying she’s bullying everyone including co workers today. She needs to get herself checked out before being put in a managerial position. Disgusting behavior, I’ll take my business to Starbucks, where I’m not bullied for asking for help. 0 stars if I could. Do not feel safe or comfortable near this freak of a human.

Small interior which can feel cramped at times. Not much room to queue inside, so queues are often out the door at busy times. Other than that, same great Costa Coffee and food. But I personally don't dine in often as it feels crowded even when there aren't too many people.

Touchwood Solihull Costa have Best staff ever! The girls I spoke with are friendly, welcoming and attentive they always appear to be genuinely happy which is lovely to be around. Ive always been welcomed and looked after by the Costa team here its definitely my favourite Costa hands down.It is nice when people make the extra effort to be kind to everyone and that has been my experience here. Also theres a great outside area to sit in and enjoy the sunshine.I must go back soon and get the other staff names as they were all amazing but last time I was served by Vicky who made the best hot chocolate ever!

Meet my friend here every now and then . Staff always pleasant but as we sat at a table one of the Male staff came to take away our coffee cups and proceeded to spray and wipe the table before we had left which I felt was quite rude. Maybe someone should point out the tables get cleaned after customers have left- please. Or at least I thought that is what should happen

We went to Costa during the weekend and it was busy as it was Chinese New year but we still got served quickly and had a table in the Mall to sit at.The coffee was of a good standard and so was the cake that I had so all good there.Highly recommended

I’ve had coffee at Costa in Touchwood today and wanted to comment on the lady that served us by the name of Trina. She was so nice and friendly and couldn’t do enough to be helpful. What a wonderful employee Costa have. Keep up the great work
