Fantastic food at a good price, keeps the whole family fed for a couple days easily and always delivers earlier than predicted so we're not waiting around too long. Strongly recommend!

Have been using this place for well over 15years now even know us by first names and food is goodBUT yet again went to collect our order and for the third time yet again been given the wrong order when we call they are not interested just say you can have 1 free dish next time or drive up and get it changed, we now live outside their delivery area so make a special journey to collect it, it's just not good enough on customer service.

When my curry come ordered king prawn and chicken curry which was suppose to be large and payed 8.00 pound the curry was in a small tray nd the rice was in a big tray won't order from them again getting dark now for what u get shame really enjoyed there food

The Golden Bird is a local institution, but sadly it's rather pricey for average food. Over £15 for chicken black bean sauce,fried rice and some ribs... And no free prawn crackers these days. The chicken has that cheap frozen sort of texture and the portions are only average. A lot of people I know love it still, but I think I've outgrown it and am used to better quality food these days.

I've been ordering from Golden Bird for more than 15 years and I can honestly say I'm satisfied with their service. The portions are more than enough, the food is flavoursome and fresh, and the staff are ok too. Sometimes all you need is a meal prepared by someone else when you've had a 13 hour shift at work! I usually order the same thing most times, but I have tried other dishes and have always been happy with the quality of my food. Thanks Golden Bird for your continued service!

My go to Chinese whenever I'm in Birmingham. Very tasty and the portion sizes are good. 4 stars because I find it abit more pricey compared to others, however I would definitely recommend them

This was Our local for Years always lovely food but just latley half orders were never coming out the other week my Niece had found a piece of metal in her food shaped like a needle i called and conplained and the manager discounted us the price off for a next Order when we did only half food came out was missing 2 rice Tried saying she never heard me but i always ask for them to repeat Order which she did say rice, Sorry Golden bird but youve lost our custom now ...

Gorgeous food! Beautifully fresh vegetables, meat dishes are fantastic quality and always consistent in taste. I ordered the Jill Yuen spare ribs, Special Foo Yung, Duck Kung Po and Chicken Chop Suey all 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Always a good tasty Chinese here, never a problem with food or delivery. Just a shame they don’t deliver through Just Eat/Uber or Deliveroo only direct through telephone orders. Also cash only for delivery is another down fall for them.Won’t stop me using them though.

Poor quality food, and now I've checked the hygiene rating ( rated 2 improvement necessary, out of 5) I wont be going back anytime soon. Given the same stars as its hygiene rating.
