Orange Tree in Solihull

Fantastic food in a lively, creatively decorated environment, plenty of parking. The lamb shank was sold out so had the pork chop which was lovely. They also serve vegan options and it has a great selection on menu plus specials. Baileys Creme Brulee is a must!

Very nice and well-decorated place. The staff was friendly, the food was good but not outstanding. For me too small portions. I ate pumpkin ravioli and for something that was called large, it was an unexpectedly small amount of food, remembering the price (almost £17) definitely not enough as a proper meal. Honestly, I’m curious how big is a small portion....?

We booked the tepee at the Orange Tree for a family party. What an excellent service we had. Friendly, professional and attentive service from all the staff. They really added that extra something which made the afternoon run so smoothly. The tepee itself was perfect, very warm and cosy even on a very cold day. The food was also great. All in all a fantastic service which was great value. All our guests thought exactly the same.

Just had my 30th birthday in the teepee here. Was really lovely, everyone commented what a good night it was. Food was really delicious we had pizza, sliders, chicken skewers, homemade nachos (incredible) and a few other bits. The service was brilliant,drinks were flowing. Would highly recommend!

Booking challenging as for more than 6 people and hard to reach by phone. Food was okay, but service wasn't good at all. Waiting staff missed an order and didn't check through before placing in kitchen (although was rectified). Desserts and coffees all came out at different times, so some had finished dessert before others had even got theirs. Felt rushed and like they wanted the table back before we had actually finished. Would have been much more enjoyable otherwise.

Popped in for some drinks, service with a smile does go a long way. I think this has been forgotten. Shame really as the pub is lovely, drinks and food presented well etc but why pay inflated price is all the staff are miserable and just slam plates down.

The pub itself is nice, I think the some staff could do with being friendlier! We had a table booked for 18.00 but was rushed to order food and then about 8ish we wanted to order a pizza but was told oven is off which for a Sunday evening seems a little early!

Really amazing food and very good value when I consider the quality of food and presentation. It's also a really cute and cosy pub with lots of parking too.The service was lovely and friendly too, however we did find it just a little bit too slow at timea. On several occasions, we also needed to wave our arms or get up to grab a member of staff's attention as it took just that bit too long.Overall though, excellent experience and would love to come back again.Thank you. 😁

We went last Sunday for a meal and while we didn't have any reservations, we were able to find a seat immediately even if it was quite busy during lunch time.I was pleased to see some Asian dishes on the menu so I went for the Korean Chicken Wings as well as the char siu pork salad.The chicken wings were superb - perfectly fried with a good crunch on it and the meat was juicy. I wasn't a big fan of the char siu pork salad though but the wings were so good that it still gets a 5 star review from me.

Great food, service and surroundings. Will definitely visit again.
