Lovely atmosphere. Staff were very friendly. It is only open until 9pm (actually 10pm!) but that was more than enough time for a catch up with friends. I tried mango cider and although very sweet it was delicious and very refreshing on a hot day.

This micropub with no tv, music or sport. Serves real ale and ciders is a great place for a social drink. Staff are really friendly and knowledgable about what they serve the selection of drinks change regularly so you will always get to try something new each visit.

This place has really come along over the years. The ale and staff have always been top notch, but it did used to feel a little too like your mate had a bar in the back room.They've obviously invested a lot in doing the place up and now it has the look and feel to go with a great selection of ales and ciders.

Best little pub going. Super friendly, nice and cosy. Dog friendly. Always happy to talk about beer and they've always got some really interesting beers on.It's real beer without being all hipster about it.

Great micro pub. It has a great selection of beers. Table service is also really good. Definitely recommend this pub.

Fantastic place, great people, great beers, and great atmosphere. Just a brilliant place all round. Would recommend it to anyone. Especially if you are into ales and for a night out. Knowledgeable staff who really look after the ales well and have a great selection on all the time! Can’t recommend this place enough!!!!

Can't fault the place if you appreciate what your drinking and where you drink it, which is surprising considering the location. Staff are great too.

Visited with my partner and dog on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We both loved the cider we had, and will definitely been returning to try their small batch gin!
