Check your bill! Lovely food however ripped off with the bill. Own fault should've checked it instead of trusting and paying. They added on 2 pepsis and 1 open open drink??? What the heck is an open drink.. Surely we didn't pay £7.95 for a jug of water??? Roughly overcharged us £12....please check your bill before paying and trusting!

Friendly staff, social dist screens in place inside, Great beer garden with fantastic views. Cheese burger was delicious. Good selection of beer, wine and spirits.

Always have a good meal here. Prices are reasonable and the beer is nice. Nice location too, right next to a train station if you wanted to get on the piss without driving.

Excellent Food With Great Service and ViewsI've been here twice for lunch....and I can't fault it.The first time I had the Shredded Duck Pancakes, which were really good, Chinese restaurant quality and a great portion size. The Duck was lovely and crispy with not much fat, and the plum sauce was very moreish.The second time I had the Ale Battered Fish & Chips, huge fish which tasted as good, if not better than my local chip shops fish. The batter was really light and flavoursome and the chips were divine....crispy on the outside while been ever so soft and moist on the inside.The service was spot on, couldn't fault it, very attentive and friendly.The views from the back of the restaurant were lovely, very rural.

Just had a fantastic Sunday lunch. The lamb was melt in the mouth and the service was great.

Pricey but beautiful food which justifies the price. The view is stunning. Service is fast and staff are friendly. The food is the main attraction here and it does not disappoint.

I've been to the Beeches several times now. All apart from tonight were fantastic.The bar service started off brilliantly, we were hopeful of a great evening. The bar tender was knowledgeable, friendly and chatty.That all changed when we got to the table. The waiting staff were uninterested, not friendly at all and pushy. Sadly, the harder I'm pushed, the harder my heels dig in. I wasn't being rushed.My main meal was well and truly crucified. Fried chicken arrived burnt, almost black. It tasted disgusting. I sent it back and asked for a fresh one. I was told I had to wait 20 minutes. I asked for it to be reflected on the bill.....it wasn't. We had to ask again for it to be taken off.Overall a poor experience and a shame to see it having gone down hill as much as this. It was once a lovely little place.Poor.

Just called in for a late afternoon drink with the dogs after a walk around Barston Lakes.They were very accommodating with the dogs, in the garden, offering iced water without us asking.Complementary nuts with our 2 drinks. What more could you ask for?
