Great location with the canal by your side and a great big beer garden to soak in the suds and sun. Only down side is its too good! It's very popular and can get quiet crowed - so just be aware if wanting food or a prime bench to enjoy your time, get in early!

Our Absolute favourite place to be! Always our go to place on special occasions & we even got engaged here in 2016. The food is always AMAZING, the table service/ manners could be improved by a handful of the younger staff though. Please bring back the giant Yorkshire puddings with a choice of fillings (Sausage, chips & beans being a favourite!)Can’t wait to return

First time here today all I can is WOW!!! What an amazing setting for a country pub, one of the best . Also the menu caters to anyone from pub classics to homemade selection even curry's , you name it they have it. I opted for homemade steak ale and mushroom pie which was one of the best I've tried and my wife had scampi which she really enjoyed . The staff are super friendly even the poor girl who was suffering with a bit of a sore throat was happy to chat away with us. Highly recommend and will 100% be returning here .

Just the place to eat out on a sunny day. We had a steak and it was very enjoyable.

We came here on a recommendation and I have to say the very best food and service we have had since the 90s. Really friendly staff that offer you a great welcome can't praise this place enough. Great atmosphere just want to say a big thank you to Michelle who looked after us and to the owners keep up the great work 5*.

Not the best. I had the half chicken, which had been so over cooked it was completely dry and tough. My friend had a Sunday Roast, which was not particularly good. I did mention it to two separate waitresses, one ignored me, the other said they would tell the chef. I paid in full and left after being politely asked to leave because we only had the table for two hours. However, on a positive note the service was excellent and the place itself really nice.

Celebrated my daughters birthday here tonight. There was a delay with our table which was out of their control but they were very apologetic. Food was lovely and staff were very friendly and attentive. A very nice way to celebrate a birthday
