The Houston's Bar and Grill in Solihull

Dropped in for a quick pint. Good environment, good beer. Had to wait until the staff finished chatting to be served. But a compulsory £1.38 tip for a beer I got at the bar, taking it to over £6 a pint?? If it's optional, ask me if I want it added.

The food here was superb. It was so fresh and tasted wonderful. Would definitely recommend

After my son recommended this restaurant I taught I would try it !The lamb curry was like a lamb stew 😒 okra fries almost broke my teeth when I tried them.after taking them back they offered to replace with Fresh ,I said no it's OK they arrived with another bowl anyway which I didn't eat.It made me feel very uncomfortable by a man I assumed was the manager continually staring as we ate.I won't be returning .

1st timers, loved it, really busy so that's a good thing, had all the vegan food with the wife and was not disappointed, food and service was spot on.

I have been here on multiple occasions and keep going back!! The food and the staff are nothing short of exceptional!!! Food is fresh and tasty and just …like nothing I’ve ever had before! Recommend the mixed grills!!!

Visited a couple of weeks ago with my partner for dinner and has a brilliant visit from start to finish.Service was fantastic - we were sat immediately and our drinks arrived within a minute or two and our food about 10 minutes after. As soon as we finished a drink, the staff were over straight away ready to take the next order.Range of drinks was fantastic (we had a couple of the craft ales each) and food selection was amazing. We had the prawns to share for starter, and for mains I had the Soya keema and my partner had the vegetable curry, both with a side of chilli cheese naan and bhaajis. All of the food was beautiful and tasted incredible.Unbeatable prices - all of the above food and 4 pints of ale for £50 is an absolute bargain. Will 100% be returning!

Super grub every time I eat here - the mixed grills are amazing, and the prawns really are very popular indeed. Great table service, and lots of choice of drinks as well - a great experience, and a massive improvement on the place that it replaced.......Solihull is all the better for it!

A noisy pub like, but great atmosphere. Super choice of splendid high quality beers and lagers. Speedy friendly and fast table service of drinks and a good variety of some good Indian foodstuffs. I found the meals a little salty and I like my food well seasoned, but must recommend this place.

Another recommendation from a local and he didn't disappoint. The Chilli paneer starter was nicely cooked, not too soft but perfectly crunchy, the Palak paneer hit the spot just right and the naan was great.Check out the interesting urinals 😁

Great food and a really good selection of beers. It lives up to the name! The food comes in generous portions, and everything was very tasty. All of the meats on the mixed grill are perfectly cooked and juicy AF. Very impressed.
