The Meriden Bar & Restaurant in Solihull

Very poor food given the price. Both of our steaks were sent back and what we got by way of replacement was still poor quality and poorly cooked. Staff helpful enough to resolve but no gesture at all in the bill to rectify our clear disappointment. Staggered this place is affiliated with such a top end chef, and charges the prices it does, yet the food was far from up to scratch. Would not eat here again.

Steak is wonderful! Nice service and environment, worthy and reasonable for that expensive price. I was being advised by a friend, also felt astonished with the long story and that crazy chef of this special restaurant founder, a legend life!

Food was very expensive for what it was and the service was incredibly slow considering the place was only a quarter full, the staff were very friendly though.
