Sunday afternoon visit for 6, reservation made easily enough via call. Venue was nice and clean and great size. Staff were efficient, polite and professional. Food ordered and came in good time with drinks just before, all food was well received and tasty including the two meals that were carvery based and most surprisingly (in a good way) the carvery food was hot which does not always happen. Overall great experience and would visit again. Thanks

So...I have to stay at these places while away with work and let's just say I have stayed in some interesting Premier inns. When I pulled up here I really wasn't expecting much at all and looking at all the flood marks on the ceiling in the Beefeater I could tell this place had been through the wars...But and yes, never judge a book by it's cover I have to say the staff were what made this place...super friendly and nothing was a problem.I ate in the restaurant both evenings and was really impressed with the standard of the food as well......shocked....actually enjoyed it.Premier inn bosses take note, the staff make these places and I could tell a number of the staff had worked here a long time which really showed.

The restaurant seemed short staff as both staff and manager were occupied on arrival, but it wasn't a long wait before we were seen too. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. The meal was nice, cooked well especially the steak.

Saw the online offer for lunch at under a tenner and decided to go and give it a shot. Wasn't expecting a great deal but was pleasantly surprised. We had a very nice tender steak and chips which was cooked fresh and well presented. Service was very good as well, all served with a smile and a friendly chat. Well done beefeater, we will be back !!

Steak too thinly cut for my liking, and the "surf" was 2 prawns and a few popcorn calamari. Other meals were fine.Service was not particularly attentive (manager and 3 staff happily chatting amount themselves).

Beefeater have certainly improved over the past couple of years. I would say the menu caters adequately for those that require larger meals, and would appear to be good value for money. Staff was friendly and polite, I think the restaurant needed to be busier to have a more vibrant atmosphere, but for me just grabbing a quick meal after work, it was fine.

Sunday lunch on 13 February. Between four of us we had lamb chops, turkey and grilled salmon. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. It was served with lots of love and care by Donna, the one who always remembers our names whenever we dine there and is so attentive to our needs at all times. Nothing seems to be too difficult for her and she’s always checking in to ensure that everything is ok for us. That’s why we keep returning to this restaurant.

Well what can I say...The chef here is a genius... I've not met a chef yet that has managed to deliver a steak that was this close to borderline perfect.I ordered a 24oz T.Bone cooked medium but no blood... This steak was amazing without a drop of blood all the way to the bone. For that alone I've given this review 5 stars. The service from the staff was great and the other dishes were also fantasticMy partner's Haddock and chips was delicious 😋We were a party off 4 and all the food was great....I would strongly recommend to the management that more chips should be added to the high value meals..my £25 T.bone was seriously lacking chips guysIt's not a high cost item and anyone ordering a large meal wants to leave full & feel it's good value for money... Yesterday I had to nick some chips from other people in our party !!From experience the lamb chops are to die for at beefeater but have been excluded from the new menu and also the mixed grill options have change so I was more than a little disappointed on arrival as that's what my partner had at the last venue while on our holiday and wanted to repeat this order for her birthday meal..🤨The prices on the new menu were a little high but signing up on the website gave us a 25% off food.... (You need to wait 3 days for the discount to arrive by email.)However If you also sign up for the free rewards card this should give you another voucher for 50% off another food order and the rewards card seems very user friendly where points are concern5 points per £ and 500 points to a voucher so every £100 spent should get you a voucherhowever it wouldn't complete the registration on my phone and i haven't been able to successfully do it to date ☹️It really pleased me to see the staff systematically cleaning the menus as that it a real downside of most pub chains.I would happily recommend this beafeater... But for value I'd go on the website and sign up for discounts before attending. We saved £19 but the 4 meals and 3 drinks was still £68 so special occasion not every day for us.Photos show the food and cleanliness of restaurantA big well done to the chef but a little heavier on the chips next time please guys 😉😎😎😎

Just a quick stop for dinner on our way North but very happy with the friendly, quick service. Food was typical chain fare - our choices Smothered Chicken and Sirloin Steak - but food was tasty and well cooked. Triple cooked chips and the coleslaw were particularly good. Bacon on top of chicken could have been more well cooked - it looked pale and unappetising. Decor was nice and fresh looking. Toilets very clean. Would definitely stop there again.

Never been to a Beefeater before so we thought we would try it. We had ribs, a steak and and a steak and ale pie. The ribs were very flavorful. Kinda on the dry side but not bad. They came with 2 sides but when I asked for the onion rings that weren't on my plate the server brought me out a small bowl with 2 onion rings in it. Um....really? The steak was nice. The pie was pretty alright too. The highlight was the Barr cream soda with vodka drink. Oh man, that was so yummy!!
