Its good pub grub. We go for the sticky toffee pudding with the Irish cream ice-cream to be honest.Staff are really friendly and attentive, they made a fuss of my daughter and made her laugh.Decent parking.

First time visiting I had brisket sandwich, wife had fish finger sandwich. Nice food. Nice selection of beers and gin. Nice old fashion type pub. Will go back for evening meal in the near future

Booked a table for me and a friend after a lovely walk around the lakes. Looked forward to a nice sandwich (I had checked what was available online before booking), only to be told by the waitress that ‘head office told us to remove sandwiches from the menu because of the Jubilee weekend’. Not sure why sandwiches have to be removed because of the Jubilee? Very odd. But it would have been a good idea to put this on their website to inform people these were removed! Had a lovely sandwich in the restaurant at the garden centre instead.

Lovely pub with friendly staff and great food! We've been here a few times now and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere on all occasions. Staff are chatty and helpful so couldn't fault the service and the fact that both beer garden and sections of the pub are dog friendly is a huge plus. Will definitely keep coming back here!

Visited with family on a busy Saturday evening. The pub is a lovely venue and staff welcomed us on arrival. The service was brilliant with Dan, our waiter, being extremely attentive and helpful. The quality of the food and drinks were fantastic and speed of service very good considering how busy the pub was. Dan made our visit as he engaged with the whole family and made us laugh on several occasions. Overall a great experience, we will definitely return.

We went for a meal tonight 21st March 2022.From the moment we walked through the door the staff were just fabulous!Really fantastic attitudes, our starters of dual pate and I had the scallops and prawns which were gorgeous, the mains ,gammon done to perfection and my husband had the fish cakes, he loved them!Honestly fabulous atmosphere! Staff went above and beyond to make us enjoy our experience .Thank you to the whole team for a lovely evening 😘

Lovely cosy pub with fire place. That’s what we needed after a long walk.We ordered a burger but there was a problem with it and the immediately change it for us.

Can't believe it's taken me decades to find this great pub. Lovely warm atmosphere helped by roaring fire. Only had a snack lunch with great service. Love the drink and smaller pudding offer and brownie was delicious. Good parking and close to Earlswood Lakes. Very dog friendly, ideal for dog walking families to lunch there. I'll will be going there again and again.

Lovely traditional pub, friendly staff we had a meal the food was awful. Both our meals were dry. I had Beef Brisket sandwich meant to be on sourdough bread it was just dry toast which made it inedible. It was meant to come with pickles just lettuce and no pickles. £8.50 for a sandwich would have expected something nice. The waitress never came and asked if it was okay. So we just paid and left. The table behind sent there meals back as they were cold. Hope they get a better with the food but I won’t visit again.
