Disappointed again! Staff need to listen better, ordered cheese and ham salad sandwich, to find when I got home it had no salad AGAIN! Also why put grated cheese on a sandwich it all falls out ,half landed on the floor…. Slow service ….

Great spot for breakfast. Between us we had chili scotch egg, sausage roll, quiche, chicken and mushroom pie, fruit tart, cappuccinos and hot chocolate. All very tasty and staff very efficient

The other half always makes me get something from here if I'm near by. To be fair I love it too.Last time I was there the guys messed up my cakes and I only realised when I got home, so just don't let them bag up out of sight as you may be disappointed - I don't hold it against them though, well enough for comment, not enough to begrudge them a star.

I am afraid to say yesterday was my last visit here. Eating in was a horrendous experience. A warmed sausage roll in a bag with a burnt bottom making it nigh on impossible to cut with a less than adequate wooden knife and fork. Hot drinks in paper cups, no plates. Had to remind them twice about the toastie we ordered and when it finally arrived it was mediocre. Considering the prices you charge it is time you introduced or re-introduced a proper counter service with plates and real cutlery. You must be the only bakery come cafe still using paper cups and bags to serve food in. The hygiene of the serving staff needs improving as well. Even Greggs are better and they are a third of your prices

We had scotch eggs, cornish pasties, custard slices. They were all to die for ! So delicious. All of the food looked fabulous. This was our first ever shop in Wedges and it met all my expectations and more. Pricing is reasonable too. We'll definitely go back soon.

Went for brunch. Nice enough and good sized portions, good value for money. They bake bread and cakes. Lots of people came in to buy bread and collect orders. I bought one of their homemade country Manor fruit cakes to take home, very nice.

Lovely place for a nice cuppa, sandwiches good quality, think the cakes are just far too big, think all servers of food should be wearing gloves, I have often had bread takeaway and it’s served with no gloves on, young guy touching hair then taking cash! Not hygienic at all ! Needs rethinking especially in these times

Experience was good.Staff need to speak louder when speaking to customers. Some of the prices seem on the more expensive side for some cakes

Took my daughter for a nice treat as they do some amazing cakes. I also had a very tasty hot sandwich. I would recommend to anyone who want a catch up coffee and a cake or a nice sandwich.

Not sure how this place is so busy. Staff aren’t the most enthusiastic so expect blunt service. The sandwich I had was of a high standard made with fresh bread however the coffee wasn’t drinkable. Shame. I feel this place could have much more potential
