Zizzi - Solihull in Solihull

Possibly the best service I've had in a chain restaurant since lockdown. Granted we were there on a Sunday evening and it was quite quiet, but the staff were very friendly and the food which was brought to us was almost too hot to eat at times, it certainly hadn't been sat on the counter for long.

My partner and I arrived and were sat at a table, the manager took our order which was for 1 gluten free vegan margarita pizza, a vegan rainbow lasagne chips and a calamari side.To start off our poor experience the pizza was made incorrectly the cheese was clearly not vegan and the base was not the normal gluten free base, as my partner is a coeliac and has a milk allergy this would have caused serious effects had it have gone unnoticed, the manager replaced the pizza to the correct order after we mentioned our thoughts. The calamari was over cooked and resembled eating pork scratchings. To finish off our poor experience there was a blue plaster in the vegan rainbow lasagne, this for us was the final straw for our visit, we quietly mentioned this to a waitress following our request for a manager, who then proceeded to offer us the meal to be re-cooked.A very VERY poor meal that has left myself and my parter, who previously loved visiting your restaurant due to your allergen menu, not wanting to return and frankly feeling quite unwell due to the thought of eating contaminated food

I was disgusted to hear a member of staff ask an elderly, visually impaired lady to leave today as her guide dog was apparently not allowed on the premises due to company policy. I can't believe that it would be policy to not allow a registered guide dog to support its owner. The impeccably behaved guide dog was silently sat under the table and it's owner had already been sat down for 10 minutes before being asked to leave. The lady had an obvious visual imparement and the guide dog was wearing the appropriate harness. I do hope the lady wasn't upset by the experience. The member of staff really should be educated in how to treat people with disabilities in a respectful, understanding, supportive way!

Nice restaurant, friendly staff, lovely food. I didn't like that you order via and pay via an app without getting much interaction from the waiters/waitresses

Its a nice place to stuffa your face - pizza and pasta and all things Italian all under one roof

First time we've been and found it to be a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the food was very good and there was a good range on offer for the vegans in our party. Found the staff very attentive and polite. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Food is nice, we use to order delivery often. Today was first time on site and it was a good experience also. Especially loved the order and payment process. Super smooth. Best app user experience I've seen in a restaurant.

Thought we'd visit the Solihull restaurant as we had such a great experience at Resorts World. Just as phenomenal, once again catered to my dietry concerns (gluten intolerance) without any fuss, the food was absolutely delicious and the wine was perfect for the dinner. The setting is very relaxed and spacious. The decor unique and interesting. All in all I think Zizzi deserves a visit.

Made to order which is so rare in chains! They kindly provided gluten free everything and removed wine from the prawn starter and main, great portion sizes.The prawns were attacked before I could get a picture but they were actually huge, no shrimps on that plate!Absolutely lovely food and staff.
