Ashwood Nurseries Tea Room in South Staffordshire

Went to John's Garden. Wow ... where nature meets nurture. You need plenty of time here ... so many hidden bits.Somehow time seems to stop and your worries dissappear.Met John too (I think) a great guy, very willing to chat about the garden.

Very busy pkenty of car parking available though.Had a nice lunch and a wonder round the plants. Some nice flowers with lovely smells coming from the greenhouses enticing you to buy. Managed to resist (this time) but worth another visit soon.

As far as garden centres go this is definitely one of the better ones.Sadly the cafe was closed when we got there, so I can't comment on that.The gift shop at entrance, and bigger shop at the back have a good variety. Some items a little pricy some reasonable.I would definitely return here in the future.Good selection of many garden plants, indoor plants, succulent and trees etc.

The 4 roses I ordered arrived in perfect condition. The soil was damp and the foliage lush and green. Thank you very much Ashwood Nursery. Will certainly use your online service again. Would definitely recommend.

Staff very knowledgeable and more than happy to help, offering lots of good advice on the available plants. Plants of super quality and reasonably priced, given the love and care thats gone into the nurturing of our much loved purchases. Lovely visit and will definitely be visiting again. Hear there are also beautiful gardens there, I'm yet to visit them, but it is on my to do list.

Great foodDifferent specials each day.Good choice of soft drinks and various coffees.Home made cakes and sconesI tried a Poppy seed and lemon scone, which was fab, my brother had coffee cake. So many more to choose from .Not too busy today . Seating available inside or out. Immaculate garden area. Plants looked well tended and a good choice.

Not been for years could not recognise the place. A really nice garden center with beautiful tea room.food and service excellent .all the plants looked really healthy and looked after.

It wonderful and very professional nursery. Managed with the best horticulture craft.

Sunday lunch excellent. Dessert excellent. Good atmosphere. Service very good. Coffee disappointing. Very small measure for cappuccino half a very small mug was froth and only half coffee. Not good for price. Needs improving.

Such a superb garden centre. Plenty of choice of plants all in great condition. Staff are super helpful. Already looking forward to another visit!
