I visited the restaurant yesterday evening, in a party of 7 people celebrating a birthday on new years eve. Well, my whole experience was a disaster from start to finish, from the moment we arrived right up to departure. I looked at the menu the night before to make the choice of my main meal, so you can imagine my disappointment when the owner/waiter returned after some time to say the dish was not available. I made another choice from the menu, already feeling deflated. The main courses arrived at the table at intervals, but mine was no where to be seen so the rest of the party started to tuck in and eat their food while it was warm, I say warm as the food was definitely not hot. I had sat opposite my wife so that we could eat together, but sadly by the time my meal arrived she had almost finished eating, one of the party had actually finished all of his food before mine arrived. So, I ended up eating my food on my own with the rest of the group watching me finish. The main courses were nothing special, especially considering the high prices, my dish alone was £18. The others ordered desserts, but I chose the cheeseboard, after a delay the waitress returned and said they had no cheese! An Italian restaurant with no cheese, quite incredible, how can you run an eatery like that? I chose to not have the cheese or and dessert. One of our party was told they could not provide a simple hot chocolate drink off the menu, but after some commotion, one did arrive. The Irish coffee was undrinkable and the gin was served in clumsy tumblers you would give to a child. The whole evening was uncomfortable, the staff just didn't seem to care, the waitresses never even looked at our empty glasses and asked if we wanted refills, there was no attention to detail at all. We asked for the bill and it was a very expensive night out for below average food, what a shame, we had been looking forward to the family event for some time. I certainly felt ripped off, I was still starving hungry after just eating a small main course as only one of my 3 choices of food could be provided . Fortunately I was going to a new years eve party afterwards at a friends house where I really enjoyed a gorgeous buffet they put on. Oh, and going back to the bill, that was the final straw that broke the camels' back, they had only included the cost of the cheese board that they couldn't provide. That really was taking the pi## , and although very upset I didn't show it at the time. I cannot ever remember writing a review on a restaurant but I feel so strongly about our experience last night that I just felt compelled to write this. When the owners read this surely they must feel they let us down as a party, particularly with the prices being charged, but perhaps they just don't care. My wife and I will certainly never be returning. Colin Meneaud.

Amazing! We meet my auntie every 6 weeks here for lunch and the food is beautiful. Today we had the Christmas set menu such great value the rib eye steak melted in the mouth, my aunties duck she said was delicious and my sister is vegetarian and had the lasagna she said it was the best she’s ever had ! The service is fantastic and the waiter is friendly and always makes us laugh can’t wait to come again!

Very disappointed with our visit today. Very cold inside the restaurant had to sit in our coats. Only one member of staff working front of house who kept reminding us he was on his own. Ordered three classic lasagne's off the menu but couldnt find any meat, only to be told when questioned it was vegatarian. I wont be returning here anytime soon.

Ordered a takeaway. When we had a look at our delivery we had some dessert in the bag thinking it was free. The driver called after about an hour later to say he gave us the dessert by mistake and it cost him £13 and ask if any chance we could pay for it. Assuming that we should have told him. I’ve called the restaurant regarding this situation they told me don’t worry and enjoy the dessert is on the house but to the expense of the driver . However driver was not truthful either as the two dessert sent was priced at £4.95 each and after 20% it should be about £8 for both. Next time do not accept the order if you can’t deliver it correctly and if it’s too far. To be honest it was expensive for what it is . The starter was ok, the main seafood pasta was basically spaghetti with jumbo prawns and no other seafood, tasted quite bland too. The pizza was good right amount of cheese. The dessert two profiteroles in a container was so so . We have eaten better elsewhere. Tried for the first time and we are really disappointed because of the driver calling and asking us to pay extra. We won’t be rushing back after the stress given.

Had a fabulous early evening meal today at Baci. From moment we arrived the lovely gentleman's have looked after us offering us a nice window table ,taken our drinks order and informed us about a " early evening menu " which was on tonight. There was a lovely selection of dishes for a very reasonable price. We had mushroom and bruschetta to start and hake and burger for our mains . Ended a lovely meal with a nice selection of dessert and capucino. Thank you very much for a great meal and service.

Came here again as we enjoyed it last time, was only very slightly disappointed this time because the simple dish I asked for Agilo e Olio was too spicy for me and not enough olive oil for me personally, the garlic flat bread was fantastic, the house salad and mixed vegetables were fine, and as usual the service was fantastic, the dessert I had was the triple chocolate cake very well presented and a nice light dessert to have, pricing of starters and mains don't make much sense as if I paid an extra £3 on the starter, I could have had a mixed seafood starter, and and extra £3 for main I could have had something extra with the pasta, as all I had was a simple pasta dish £6 would have been a better price then the £9 I paid, but with the great night we had the £80 was a standard price to paid these days for an Italian meal.
