Blakelands Lodge Restaurant in South Staffordshire

When we first visited Blakelands we knew straight away that this was our venue. It’s not just the stunning views of the house and grounds (although I can’t say enough about how gorgeous the place is!) but also how wonderful the people are. Heather and Chloe were friendly and welcoming from the start, it sort of felt like we’d always known them! No question was silly, nothing was ever too much to ask for. On the day itself Paul and his team ran the event so smoothly I just felt like I breezed through it. Every single member of staff is ready to help, to congratulate you, or bring you a drink, and they always remember your name and welcome you with a big smile! The tips to get me down the aisle, ensuring my dress was laid out perfectly behind me.. I’m so grateful for everyone’s care and help. They also kept us so well fed! The food was divine, and I’m especially appreciative of whoever thought to wrap some baguettes up for me and my husband to find in the bridal suite so that we got some food of the night! Our guests loved their rooms and their meals, everyone has been very complimentary.Heather said it’s a leap of faith to book a wedding venue - but with Blakelands it’s an easy choice. Thank you for a perfect day!

I very much enjoyed my time at Blakelands Country House. It’s a fantastic family run home and gorgeous wedding venue. Can’t wait to visit again!

A wonderful wedding or party venue. The location and facilities are gorgeous, staff were all fantastic. We received a warm welcome, accommodation is lovely. Food was beautiful, perfect weekend.

Lovely wedding venue nr Halfpenny Green. Very secluded and away from major roads etc. Only downside is there are a lot of steep stairs although there is a star lift. Staff are lovely and rooms overnight spotless and cosy.. Morning staff were very friendly and attentive

Excellent service particularly on the day of the wedding itself. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were on hand and provided a very professional yet friendly service. We had such an amazing day at The Blakelands- a fabulous venue for a wedding without doubt. I would certainly recommend it! Thank you to all the staff for their support in helping to make my daughter’s wedding such a happy and memorable experience.

Absolutely stunning venue. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The ceremony was lovely and emotional. The grounds were fantastic and everywhere you walked in the grounds, there was something really unique to see. The wedding meal was faultless and our room was top class. I will hopefully go back really soon.

We just wanted to say a huge ‘Thank you’ to all of the staff at Blakelands for making our wedding day so perfect. 10.09.2021. This was our fourth wedding date due to COVID restrictions and the staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating during our wedding planning. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and we fell in love with the venue from the first time we visited back in 2018. The bridal loft was a huge selling point for me for getting ready on the morning of our wedding!The day itself went so smoothly and the whole team were so well organised to ensure all of our bridal party and guests were well looked after. The reception and evening food was delicious and all of the guest rooms including the bridal suite were decorated beautifully. There are so many beautiful places for photo opportunities both inside and out of the venue we were spoilt for choice.We have visited Blakelands on many occasions for their wedding Fayres, open days etc and have always enjoyed our visits and feel we have got to know Chloe, Heather, Paul and the team during our long engagement! We know that anyone looking to book Blakelands as a wedding venue in the future will have the BEST experience as we really can’t recommend this wedding venue and the Blakelands staff enough! Thank you for all you have done for us over the past few years - we wish we could do our whole day again with you!Mr and Mrs Vickers
