Wow! First time eating here but won't be the last. Staff were so friendly and food was top restaurant quality at pub prices. 5*

As near to perfect as you can get, varied, extensive menu with freshly cooked food and friendly and polite service. Very good value all round. Clean everywhere too. We have been before and we will go again soon. Ken Goldingay

Story of two halves unfortunately, previously have rated The Bradford very highly indeed, always one of my favourite pub for meals, on this occasion our one meal, Hotpot, was very, very, good, with extremely generous portions of veg, hot pot , and potatoes. Our other meal of Cod and Chips fell well below previous standard and experiences. The fish was very small compared to previous meals, certainly well short of that enjoyed in the past. Always used to refer to it as whale and chips but that falls well short of the mark and frankly the quality was not anywhere that previously enjoyed. Pity really as was an ideal stop when returning to Shropshire from Birmingham. Will try other pubs in the future.

An old pub in need of a bit of refurbishment. We went for a Sunday carvery, what the pub lacks in glamour is overwhelms in service, food choice and quality. It would be hard to find a vegetable that wasn't on offer. I had the beef, which was a good serving and cooked to perfection. If you don't want the standard meat and veg lunch they offer a choice of continental style vegetables. Assistants are friendly and helpful. Also a good choice of sweets.Update: Revisited for Sunday lunch, they couldn't find our booking made a week previous. Put to wait in bar until table ready, where we were forgotten.Eventually after a reminder we were shown to a table and informed they would tell us when to go to Carvery, forgotten again. I Cannot pick any fault at all with the food or the pleasant attitude of the person serving. After meal we had to approach waiter for desert menu, then had to find someone to take our order. On leaving bill showed charges for drinks we hadn't had. The difference in our two visits was like day and night. The staff we interacted with were nothing like the previous visit. Although food is excellent and great value, the experience we had will stop any further visits.

Excellent service and great value money. The meal was lovely and hot and good proportions. A very enjoyable evening.

Last night my family and I came here for a meal and it was absolutely delicious. We opted for cod and chips which arrived freshly cooked, piping hot with all the trimmings. I can thoroughly recommend this hostelry. There is an extensive menu, very friendly and efficient staff and always a choice of real ale. Great!!!

I have visited the restaurant numerous times never felt welcome at all by the manager every time so the last time ( it smelled really bad of wet dog) I believe she went out of her way to make sure I don't come back no more as I gave my infant child some mashed potato of my plate which I paid for when it came to the bill there was an additional charge written out in different colour pen than the rest of the bill applying £5 charge for a child's meal when I questioned this I was told it was because I gave my infant some mashed potato I disputed this and said it was off my plate I was told she would prefer me not to come back no more I believe this was solely of my ethnicity as I asked other customers he will also do the same thing did this charge be added to the bill and all three of them replied no

We went on December 29th as a party of sixteen so took our order in the day before.The food was plated and straight to table so piping hot. The cost with drinks was more than reasonable so a big thank you to all the staff.Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice, not rushed but bit hectic at busy times with going up for the carvery. Waitress knowledgeable about dietary requirements. Noticed all the waiting staff asked their tables. Dessert menu marked up for vegan & gluten free. Good value too.
