Almost perfect in terms of what we needed it to do, almost...Pros:The pub (a Greene King pub) has a good menu, which was fairly extensive for a Sunday including both a roast option and the normal pub fare too.Inside the pub felt spacious, with large tables spaced nicely apart.Everything seemed clean and the decor was nice.A clean high chair was brought over for us.Hand gel dispensers on wall.Clean toilets and baby change facilities.Wacky Warehouse and outdoor climbing frame were appreciated and were good value.Cake and hot drink offer for only £2.99 seemed extremely reasonable in Wacky Warehouse - the brownie, millionaire shortbread and cherry bakewell were so good we bought more to take home!Cons:We ordered a total of four meals. Only one of those was brought out hot. All the others were cold when brought out. We thought maybe the three meals had been left on the side while they cooked the fourth? A real shame because otherwise the meals were nice: fresh ingredients and well presented.Over all, we would definitely return but will cross our fingers that the food is hot next time.

One of our favourite places to eat. Staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and they’re very friendly.Definitely recommend the fillet steak from here. Always good, and very reasonably priced too!Childrens play area in the garden area as well as a wacky warehouse attached.Would certainly recommend this place.

Great food and great team work staff wise. Thorough enjoyed my meal. I had a 12oz rump medium. It was like cutting butter!. My daughter who is autistic had chicken nuggets chips and peas and she loved it too. Well done

We visited a couple of days ago and the food was quite poor. My daughter had the nuggets and mashed potato and while the nuggets were passable, the mash was extremely stodgy and she was given carrots instead of the peas we ordered and they had started to discolour.I had the chicken burger which was small and somewhat dry, with a slightly stale bun. At least the salad inside was fresh. Onion rings were tasteless. Soft drinks were very watery tooThe upsides were: my partner had the hunters chickens which she enjoyed. The staff were friendly and we were seated quickly. My daughter enjoyed the wacky too and it wasn't too pricey. If I was rating just on food, this would easily be a 1 or 2 star. You can easily buy better quality supermarket or fast food for half the price so why bother coming here to eat?

Went to the pub this weekend to be told that they were fully booked and could not give us a table at all. I don't know how your system works but the pubs I used to work for if the place was at full capacity then there would be no empty chairs and if the tables in question were in fact reserved then surely signs would be placed on said tables to stop people sitting there which also was not the case. So now all that's left to assume is you do not wish for the custom in which case is business suicide. Have seen I'm not the only reviewer to have trouble as old saying goes one may be wrong but not two

Stopped off here, on a long journey very hungry and heavily pregnant, to be told no tables even though we could book a table online, turns out she just didn't want any more customers because she wanted a break!! Poor customer service! Should Be thankful for customers, not turning them away unnecessarily!!

We came in for food in the week and had an amazing visit. The food, the service, the atmosphere were spot on. The manager and staff went above and beyond expectations to make our visit very special. We’ll be returning very soon, thank you!

Made to feel very welcome throughout our visit. Expected the usual chain food but was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the price was better than expected too. Thanks to Justine for the five star service.
