went for an afternoon tea today in the cafe restaurant, it was absolutely beautiful, great food, friendly staff, couldn't have done anymore for us, sandwiches were lovely and fresh, cakes were delicious and the scones to die for 😋 will be back for more - we also mooched around the shop and picked up a few bits and pieces to enjoy - thank you

Large car park with plenty of spaces. We were impressed with the variety of provisions on display. Helpful staff.

Always happy after a trip to Essington. Great produce and reasonable prices. Polite and friendly staff, nothing is too much for them. Definitely recommend a visit.

I went primarily for lunch with my wife and a friend, I had the roast beef, a little overcooked for my liking and tough beef. The fish and chips was okay but " triple cooked chips" result in a lot of crunchy bits of chip. Once cooked would be fine. Beer batter on the fish was hard in places. Overall the food was acceptable but expensive for what you got.Having said that the staff were pleasant and helpful and the farm shop was well worth the visit, I shall go again but confine myself to the shop

Very clean & well laid out shop, meat is a little pricey but excellent quality. Chinese Chicken stir fry is extremely tasty & worth buying. Only 2 points stop me giving it 5 stars: Although full of meat; the pork pie is too dry, needs more jelly & the pastry isn't crunchy enough. The oranges are the sourest & bitterest I've ever tasted so to be avoided. Won't stop me going again but won't buy those products again. Staff are very friendly & helpful

Great food, can’t get better in the area but twice now I have had “cook in tray “ food ruined by the tray melting while cooking. As you will see, the lamb is just starting to cook but the “cook in tray” has decided that it doesn’t like to be cookedUpdate,Have not stopped using the farm shop since my issue with the trays, nice to see I haven’t seen them sold as cook in tray for a long time. I still visit every week for their meats, along with several other items which have always been excellent and yes you can taste the difference . Went to the restaurant last night for the Burns evening meal. All 3 of us had a great night and 12 clean plates were collected by the staff across the evening. Their Deli and Butchers counters have loads of choice, once tried you will never buy from a supermarket again

I have been visiting the fruit farm for sunday lunch for over 27 years. I went last weekend to see a whole new format, all the normal faces had gone and the food has become below average. The service was rude and did not follow up on any requests for cutlery etc To see it change like this and the food become so poor is truly gutting

Fab shop lovely jams, chutneys, sauces etc. Large selection of meats, cheeses, samosas, different pork pies, cakes juices, veg and much more. Shop is lively and clean and the staff are helpful. It is a little more expensive than the supermarket but you pay for what you get. The food is delicious

Great farm shop and the best quality, loved squeezing our own orange juice. The selection is great with everything you could ask for.

We went Strawberry 🍓 picking, it's definitely not cheaper than buying them from the supermarket in case you're wondering. However I have never tasted such tasty strawberries either. I arrived more than a month after the strawberry Polly tunnels were opened. So I was picking the ones people had missed. Its a nice experience finding hidden rich red 🍓 🍓🍓🍓. Definitely give it a go, might try picking some other fruit or veg next time.
