Harleys Smokehouse & Grill in South Staffordshire

So we were given a voucher for two afternoon teas with prosecco at Dunsley Hall Hotel but agreed to swap it at Madhatters for a picnic bench for two with ice-cream instead of prosecco. Great decision. Jodie and the team were great and the picnic bench is a mixture of savoury and sweet that really works. Tasty and very filling. I particularly liked the fact that my ice-cream was made on-site and dairy free but also free of gums like xanthan, guar and carob that you find in so many products. We really enjoyed our visit and look forward to another happy return.

Such a lovely place. Delicious food and friendly staff. Bonus park to run off some food too. A bit pricey for us but well worth it. You get what you pay for right? Quality. We'll be back.

Good food and a very nice setting. Staff could have been a little more attentive but they were very pleasant when there. The coast to coast isn't the best but the food was solid. My wife's burger was better than my steak which needed a bit of seasoning.Very enjoyable though!

It is surprisingly quiet in Harley's Smoke House when it's such a gem! The food is delicious, the burger was homemade and the chips too. The coleslaw was delicious and the burrito... Mammoth in size. Absolutely brilliant place.Dessert, the long kebab looking thing was amazing! A real treat. Will certainly return for more.

I didn't actually go to the smokehouse but the mad hatter's café above the restaurant but it is all interlinked. The breakfasts are amazing and if you love cake, ice-cream or milkshakes this is the place to go!

This is by far the best place to go for a meal out with your family and friends. I enjoyed the food and drinks and the customer experience is ridiculously good. Staff are absolutely the best. Definitely going there again.. don't forget to try their deserts 🤤

Lovely resturant, welcoming staff & the food was amazing. Highly recommend the lamb rump. Definitely visit again in the future.

We were looking for an authentic smoke house and we were not disappointed. The food is fantastic. If you like ribs, wings, pork belly, etc .. we can't recommend Harley's highly enough. The staff are all so friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. We can't wait to return to relax in the orangery and take it easy in the tea room. We have the huge range of cakes and gelato in our sights .. looks like we will be making many more visits! We understand they have many events and special evenings lined up ... see you there! .. I was really impressed with this place. My nephew has a dairy allergy and the staff were really caring and attentive to make sure he got some food he loved. It was great to see. Thanks!The rest of us had amazing food too. There was so much great sounding stuff on the menu I'm looking forward to trying more.I had the pork belly as a starter because I really wanted to try to barbecue sauce. It was so lovely! A lovely depth of flavour.Blue cheese burger for my main and again it was gorgeous. The relish was lovely too and again so full of flavour. The family had other burgers are were all really impressed.Whatever you do don't miss the ice cream for dessert. Top notch gelato with fabulous flavours. We especially loved the fruit cake flavour.The setting for this place is lovely too. I look forward to coming back in the summer and dining outside.Thanks for a great meal and see you again soon!

We absolutely love this place! The staff are so friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, the decor is lovely, it's super comfortable and the restaurant is DOG friendly! There's a new tea room/cafe opened upstairs called Madhatters, which is also dog friendly, selling breakfasts, pastries, cakes, cream teas and their own, homemade gelato. They've created the most delicious flavours. 💯% recommend and we'll be back again. Thank you Jess for looking after us today ☺️
