Great food amazing staff couldn't do enough for us definitely recommend

Very cosy pub. Went there after a local running event. No food after 8pm unfortunately. A lot of dogs inn the pub. The guest ales were top shelf!

Staff were slow and disorganised.I ordered two burgers ( which came with chips) and was charged for two extra portions of chips on top. Unbelievably the barman charged me for a strangers pint who ordered after us!!! We asked for a refund and they said the brewery would not allow this. My friend bought 2 beers but we were still out of pocket. When then food came it was nice but the hassle at the bar spoiled our experience.

Booking through Open Table was easy and I was informed and reminded before we came to this pub We had been before and thought it ok but thus time it was really good. The young lady who served us was fantastic and we shared a good rappore with her. The food proportions were excellent and a good choice of various foods. We had hunters chicken, gammon, ham and chicken pie, fish all served with chips and some had salad but most vegetables. The food was very tasty and we will certainly come again. The value of all meals and drinks was very reasonable and for 6 people, a bill of just over £93 was excellent. Thank you so much for your welcome and friendliness.

Nice food but pricey if you have a larger family eating 3 courses. Garlic and stilton mushrooms v good.

Lovely lunch and service, food was excellent and offer a good selection. I had not been for quite a few years but highly recommend a visit, I shall definitely be going again. Very clean and spacious dining area and lovely friendly staff

Great food and friendly service all around, food was delicious generous portion sized. It akso didn't take too long to come out. Had a great meal out with family and will definitely be coming back again.

Perfectly acceptable pub grub efficiently served by polite and friendly staff. We visited for lunch Friday 12th November. My stepfather had steak and ale pie served with mash and peas. Big jug of gravy came with it. I had hunter's chicken chips and salad. My only criticism would be that the mash was most likely microwave (understandable)and the chicken was a bit overcooked. The restaurant area of the pub is very well set out. Lovely blue feather background on the ceiling centre piece. But I must admit the light fitting made us chuckle. I understand that the industrial look is en vogue at the moment but all the superfluous wiring makes it look like the electrician has just done a first fix and was coming back at a later date. But this minor nitpicking won't stop us from going back. Enjoyable afternoon reasonably priced

Had a lovely family meal. Very nice atmosphere and will happily go again.I really enjoyed the burger but only reason I didn't give a 5* is because both my mom and mother in law had the fish and chips and said the fish wasn't very nice something to do with the batter. Not sure if it was reheated fish batter taste but anyway would recommend
