Miller & Carter Penn Cottage in South Staffordshire

We went in for the lunchtime menu, £15.50 for 3 courses.I had the chorizo starter, superb.Burger for main, nothing special but fine.Profito with chocolate for dessert, again nothing special but fine.Becareful with the menu as 3 who were in my party had surcharges.Waitress was lovely.One of the steaks had a lot of gristle.

A really enjoyable dinner out. Everything was excellently presented, the food was absolutely incredible and staff couldn't do enough for you.

Came for my wife's birthday late lunch/early dinner. Again we were not disappointed! Both steaks were cooked to perfection! I've never had a bad meal here!My wife really liked it here before but now loves it! That is for one big reason for her and that is their menu is nut free! The waitress told us that the staff aren't allowed to bring in any kind of nut products, which is amazing for her as she's got a nut allergy! This is the first time she's been able to have a dessert. It's been years since she's had black forest gateaux, she loved it!I was super impressed with the waitress, excellent service and customer experience, very cheerful and friendly, super quick and she also got "Happy Birthday" written in the raspberry sauce on my wife's dessert plate!Needless to say, we'll be back!

We went here as a family to celebrate my birthday. The food was absolutely wonderful! The fillet mignon was perfect and we adored the truffle Mac and cheese. Our waiter Leon was so amazing, from giving us recommendations on both the steaks and cocktails to the super service! Extremely knowlegable and great company.

9 of us went to Miller and Carter in Wolverhampton on Stourbridge Road.The ambience was great.Food was super amazing.Kids asked to come to this place all the time.The lady serving was excellent.Soon she knew we were there to celebrate my friends birthday , she made it special by bringing happy birthday plate along with singing birthday song.10/10Will definitely visit again.

Excellent Food & Service. We have just had a lovely 3 course dinner and it was delicious. The table service was outstanding as well, despite being a very busy New Years Eve.Marko has been very attentive and friendly, thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Marko, excellent night out.

We have been here and to the Hagley Road M&C on many occasions and of course the experience can vary.Unfortunately our Boxing day visit was a big disappointment. In fact I can't find anything positive to say about the food or the service. I love a nice steak but I have had so many that have been below par that I now usually stay safe with a burger. I am thinking others in our party will now follow suit as the steaks were typically undercooked and the sides were cold. This was coupled with slow and inattentive service. It took 25 minutes for our waitress to find our table and take our order. The drinks took a further 15 minutes to arrive. We noted that she and others seemed to prefer talking to the kitchen staff rather than the customers. Even their Covid measures seemed to not apply after 9.00pm.We pointed this out to the manager and he was apologetic and made a gesture. This was welcome but I am at a loss as to how they could get it so wrong.

The Venue and Staff there are very welcoming with a wonderful table service. They also cater your meal to suit you if you have any food intolerances which I do. There's not many places that would do that. Plus the food was presented well and full of flavour...Its a Must Place to go! Very 😊

Food was amazing! Leon, our waiter was brilliant, so knowledgeable. And he remembered the entire food order for 6 of us perfectly! Even though we all ordered different steaks with different preferences. Cocktails were also bang on! Brilliant evening thank you 😊
