Mr Chips in South Staffordshire

Had steak and onion pie and chips. The pie was really dry as though it had been kept warm for far too long. Not the best .

Absolutely the worst food! Called by lunchtime to get a few portions of chips etc as we had been on a walk, cold chips and even colder mushy peas. All went in the bin. NEVER AGAIN

I'd give this place 4.5 the chips are good when cooked fresh, and the fish too. Maybe not the very best fish and chip shop I have ever used, but we like this place and the price is right. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

Owners are lovely people, friendly and welcoming. Fantastic food! Well worth a visit and I live half hour away. Fish, sausage and pies are all delicious. 5 star establishment!!! A must visit!

Quality fish or anything in batter very disappointed with the chips quite dry like old potatoes. None of the eyes on potatoes had been cut out unless I had all of the ones they missed . On the plus side the chap is very accommodating but not the fastest service.

Now been there twice. Had fish and chips on both occasions and was well impressed. Friendly service and lovely food. What more can I say apart from I'll be back!

Great food spoke with the owner top guy, using a new oil chips are nice and crisp not full of oil the way it should be! Pizza are probably the best I've had in the past year plenty of toppings and red hot not sitting round for half hour and like warm like most places! When I'm back in the area 100% be back for more!!

Won't use again. The place lacked ambience.The owner didn't try & make any kind of conversation even though we waited 15 minutes for a pizza. He didn't even look at us actually.We had seen an amazing looking pizza on their Facebook page so we drove out of our way to try it. What we received bore no resemblance to the photo online. It was more of an Asda pepperoni basic frozen thin crust pizza rather than the 3 inch thick ultimate meat loaded pizza advertised. The chips were tasteless too .
