Part of the Greene King chain of pubs. Ample parking, the tables well spaced, staff very helpful and attentive. Standard pub type food. My Steak and Kidney pie was very dry inside. A pot of gravy was supplied with meal, but didn't compensate for the pies dryness. My friend's Chicken and Mushroom pie was moist inside but the pastry was extremley hard. Prices not too bad for what you get. See pictures, onion rings were a extra.Update: Went for Sunday lunch Easter, staff were helpful, Sunday roast was perfect. They had put on a Egg hunt for the children and presented them with a larger one after our meal, nice touch.

Primarily go here to play darts and pool with the parents as a group.Staff are very friendly and it gets a busy pub. Unfortunately, the food let's it down a little bit. It is to suit a various budget but could be a little better presented and a touch more on your plate. However, the darts and pool table is where it's all at 😉

Went for my birthday yesterday, 6 of us. Great menu, Charlotte extremely helpful and steaks cooked superbly by Phil. Excellent value and service. Recommend

Lovely to see it back open, the pub has had more TV's installed instead of the "big screen" so you can pretty much see a game from wherever you are inside. The outside has been tidied up with new seating too.

Went to the Pear and Partridge yesterday afternoon. The staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful and hardworking. What a pity they were let down by Greene King who have not provided sufficient storage facilities for food they are offering. Felt sorry for embarrassed staff who had to explain why there wasn't any fish, peas or suet pudding. What we had to eat was O.K. but not what we wanted from the menu. We went to the Pear and Partridge the day after it opened and it was the same story then. Good staff are are difficult to find let alone keep. Greene King should do better than this. Support and back up your staff or customers won't come back. There are plenty of other options in the area! Thanks to the staff for doing there best in difficult circumstances.

Visited for the first time after reopening for a few drinks with friends. While I'm sure the food is well priced and the old place has had a refresh, the drinks more than make up for it. I paid £8:30 for two pints, one lager and one Abbott ale as all the other ales were off. This is Perton, not the suburbs of London!

First time coming back here since its been closed. Absolutely shocked, was approached by a barmaid who advised us we shouldn't be sitting in a section due to me having children present, that is not labeled up as 18+ as its an open pub. Then 5 minutes later 2 families come in sitting on the next table run around like mad heads playing pool and the staff never approached them about it being 18+ area. Will not be returning again.

Was so pleased to know that there was a pub re-opening on the estate.Never been to the Pear and Partridge prior to its closing last year.Looks like the Outdoor garden has been spruced up a bit and a little lick of paint on the doors but the inside looks like nothing would of been changed?Wall paper is peeling off the walls and there is hazard tape all over the floor in the "sports" area.Shame really as most places that close and re-open make more of an effort to keep its customers returning by giving it more of a refurbishment. Now to the food/drink:- Its a Greene king so you get what you pay for, its cheap enough and came out quick enough. I went for the all day breakfast - it was nice minus the eggs which needed another 20 seconds yolk side as was too runny.Staff very friendly and drinks reasonably priced.Would I go again? With friends I would yes, but to take family too, I'd prefer to go somewhere else.I've given 4 stars out of 5 for the lack of new decorating.

Outside area looks fab, inside same old but food was excellent and staff friendly and efficient.

Family get together, food good, but they had run out or didn't have some things we had ordered, such as, no bread for toast which is included in all day breakfast, no brown sauce, no puddings, and when questioned, didn't seem bothered, up to you if you visit,
