Sadly the food was just so so, and very expensive considering. Tried a chicken halloumi burger and a pulled pork jacket potato, as well as coffees. All tasted very pub-Esque, yet had the price tag of a restaurant. Many dirty tables when we arrived, although these were slowly cleaned during our time there. A number of good walks starting from here though, and friendly staff!

We shopped here when passing through on our narrowboat. The selection and quality of fresh food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and helpful and we’ll definitely return.

Sadly we have had two awful breakfasts at canalside in the past month. The eggs are overcooked and covered in bacon and sausage bits, the sausages are also way overcooked and dry.It always used to be fantastic here but sadly that's our last visit after paying £22 for food I wouldn't accept at a cheap roadside diner. The staff here are lovely and helpful but it's the cooking and food that has been a massive let down.

Exceptional - well above the average!Having now visited well over twenty farm shops over the past 2 months we were hugely impressed with both the cafe and farm shop. The service in both was excellent and when we mentioned some food intolerances we got introduced to the chef! The food was amazing in both quantity and taste - the best baked potato I’ve had in 57 years! The range of produce and gifts in the farm shop was remarkable and the layout easily navigated with a pram one-handed!Clearly the whole place has been well thought through - congratulations and thanks to all involved.Jules, Sandra, Kelly and baby Jesse

We visited Canalside Farm to take part in the pumpkin picking. What a fabulous evening we had. The selection of pumpkins was outstanding, with multiple fields full of them all shapes all sizes and even colours! We also had food in the cafe which was tasty and great value with lovely hot coffee too just what you needed on a cool autumn evening.Definitely recommend for all ages to visit the pumpkin picking!

My partner & I have visited the canalside cafe on many occasions & each time we are never disappointed. The food is of exceptional quality, always cooked fresh to order. The lunch menu is varied but I have to recommend the canalside burger... absolutely delish!! We always leave feeling full.

I've just eaten the most divine slice of cherry and almond sponge cake. The hot chocolate was very good and lovely staff here. I'll definitely come visit again.

What has happened to our local cafe? After being a regular customer for many years I’ve seen a sudden and drastic change for the worse. Luckily the coffee and food still have standards “depending on the day”. A lot of the original friendly faces have gone over the last serval months with only a handful remaining, a rotation of new ones coming and going from what I can assume. This was once a small slice of paradise on the canal. I can only assume mismanagement has caused the downfall. I’ve even witnessed on two separate occasions a lady I can only assume as one the managers with the name of Juana “on the name tag” how she speaks to the staff. I found it disrespectful, rude and offensive in my personal opinion. I really do feel for them. Locals in the village also echo the same opinion as I. What a sorry state of affairs.

Love the food love the shop nice and fresh food but the cafe needs blinds as its very hard to see when eating food. But apart from that really nice food and grate staff.

Very well stocked Farm Shop. Lots of local fruit, veg, cheese, beer , wine , cider, bakery products and loads more. Also has Cafe alongside the canal, with plenty of boats moored up. Nice place to stop off when in the area.
