Staff were very attentive. The fish and chips were probably the best I’ve had yet. Olin lovely and clean and a great atmosphere. Keep up the good work

We visited the pub on the 10/04/22 although the meal was fantastic I’m very disappointed by now receiving a parking fine for £100 we wasn’t aware you had to register the car as we were shown straight to our table and never once went up the bar we spent £148 as there was 6 of us this is very disappointing.Edit to my negative review the parking ticket as been cancelled and I’d be happy to visit here again . Perhaps to prevent this from happening would it be wise for the staff just to prompt people to put their car reg in the machine .

Amazing place dog friendly staff awesome we had the tomahawk steak to share. Amazing steak loved it . Def going again.

Visited last Night, place is lovely, staff are friendly. Both of us had the Fish and Chips and was left disappointed by the meal and presentation. We did not pay the extra £1 for the bigger fish - we wish we had. The fish was small although the curry sauce was nice and dessert and coffee. Will visit again.

Sadly I wanted to stop there as it is right next to the chase. Visited a couple of times, first time the food was great and sat next to a window overlooking the common, second time I was taken to a seat right at the back and the breakfast was cold and felt it was made of leftovers. As they say you pays your money and takes your chance, I won't be going back!

Me, the Mrs and the daughter. 8 monthsTable service was terrible. Harrassed by 4 different staff to order then finally spoken to a female who seemed to know what she was doing. Until I ordered a pint and waited 37 minutes.Upside. Food was exceptional. The later shift were more relaxed and on the ball with drinks and plates. Thank you to the young girl with dark hair and pink, glittery key fob necklace. She was absolutely fantastic 👍👍👍Side note. Get rid of the world's biggest speed bump from the entrance to the pub.Never seen a more dangerous place for it which is directly next to a busy roundabout.

We were sat immediately next to another couple, even though plenty of other tables. Then another couple came in and were sat directly behind us!! Guess covid restrictions didn't affect this pub!! All 3 of our tables had problems with the food. The other 2 had to send full meals back. When we asked for another drink each, only one was bought back to us after about 30 mins! Needless to say we won't be back unless that's the only safe place in a zombie apocalypse!! 🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️

Busy place and food was lovely. Service left alot to be desired. One woman who was doing the greeting and seating it felt as if you were an inconvenience being there very off putting I think she wanted a quiet shift and as it was a lovely day the pub was packed. . Other staff were lovely.

Great staff good food and great Gin choices. Shame they ran out of lasagna which is the only thing I went for.

Went as a big group for a 3 course festive dinner. The food was so bad. Some parts were cheap, such as bog standard sliced white bread with the soup starter. Some parts just didn't taste nice, flavours that didn't work. Worst of all though, the turkey was sour in taste, clearly off🤢 won't be going again. Such as shame as our family reunion was marred by this. Still had a laugh though.
