"It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all guests over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if guests do not comply. To get the most up-to-date notices on our re-opening, keep an eye on our Facebook page."

Brilliant atmosphere, friendly staff, great food and lovely surroundings with the canal next door will definitely be back when we’re next in the area

·

Great pub by the side of the canal, big car park, good food, dog friendly, even got launderette to cater for the canal people. You must visit when you are in the area Friendly staff.

Excellent Beer .Landlady was very welcoming and her friendliness was second to none. Very community spirited. Due to mothering Sunday, suggested other establishments for food...thanks

As a narrow boat continuous cruiser, I stopped here on the canal overnight after seeing the advertisement sign saying that laundry facilities were available at the pub. I spent a very pleasant afternoon over a couple of pints of IPA and a plate of nachos. What a great way to do your washing! The staff were very helpful and the beer and facilities were very good. Highly recommended.

Such a delightful pub, Helen and her team are some of the friendliest people you could ever meet. We stopped by and enjoyed a meal from the Lunch Club which was fantastic quality at a great price! The beer was nice and cold (which is always a plus on a warm day) and the wine offering was impressive. I hope to call by another day to see you again!

·

Fantastic meal yesterday lunchtime...pleasant staff and surroundings. Can't wait for the summer to sit outside near the canal.

I recently held the Wake for my late father at The Bridge. Helen, the Landlady could not have been more helpful. The room was ideal and the large car park meant that everyone could park on site. I was able to set up a table with a few photos beforehand Everything was ready for us on arrival and the chef did a great buffet for us.Tea and coffee were available in the room and drinks could be purchased from the bars. A great venue and great service from all the staff.
