Friendly, helpful and delicious food! Fantastic food and choice on the menu, the beer garden is really beautiful all lit up at night. Great choice of drinks on tap. My favourite country pub in the local area!

Excellent quality food and great beer. You can't ask for more than that from a pub, but add friendly staff and traditional surroundings and you've got The Cat Inn

I have used this place as a Base to ride from years. Knowing that there is the best Enville waiting for you afterwards always spurs me on. I have never eaten here but the food always looks great. Bar snacks are great, especially the pork pies. And to top it all a great selection of house and guest ales. Always a friendly welcome as well. Definitely worth a visit.

Beer cheap and good choice. Sadly didn't rate food. Wanted a nice sandwich on uncut granary type bread. All they offered was small dry poorly filled ciabatta. Very poor for £8.95.

Delicious fish finger sandwich. Lovely and warm with the log fire burning. Definitely worth the visit.

Really nice pub in a picturesque village, only stayed for a pint of locally brewed beer, which was well poured and tasted great. Food looked amazing, a shame we didn't stay for dinner. We sat in the garden (love the lights and trees) but had a nose through the inside too, really looks and feels like a traditional pub inside. The lady who served us was wonderful too, friendly and informative (we're not local so had some questions) she's a credit to her workplace. They were setting up for a night of music by the looks of it, so again a shame we missed that, but looked like good fun. Would recommend

Lovely old fashioned unpretentious pub / restaurant offering excellent value food in a lovely setting supported by friendly staff. We both had the beef lasagne with salad and home prepared fries all of which was excellent for £11.50. They even did a fillet steak for £16.00 which I'll try next time.

Such a wonderful country pub that offers delicious food and well kept beer. Run by a fantastic couple Dan and Aimee, equalled by amazing staff, who always make you feel welcome. Highly recommended.

Stopped at the Cat while visiting the area. As the weather was nice we sat outside, a pleasant space with tables well spaced out.Ordered drinks, starters and mains for 4. Service was reasonably good, and no complaints about the food.Only comment is the packet sauces really let the place down, other then that everybody (including the dog) enjoyed the visit.

A first rate pub.The service is exemplary. The selection of beer and gin is particularly good.Wine, cider, spirits and soft drinks are provided in a wide selection. The food represents particularly good value. The selection is not too broad meaning what they do is particularly good. There is plenty of car parking space and the toilets are well maintained and clean.
