The staff were very friendly and helpful and place is peculiarly special in a wonderful way. Noticed cars were driving down to see the pub whilst it was open and taking a look without going in. Lets support the pub by calling in for a drink. You won't be dissappointed unless you arent looking for something truly Black Country & AUTHENTIC....

Came got the Sunday lunch deal I saw advertised on Facebook. Restaurant was dead, only us and another table so was served quickly. No veggie roast on the menu but the lady sorted out a veggie dish. Beef was nice and tender for the other meal.

What a lovely cosy quirky pub! First time here and local, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the place is and the food was scrumptious! I had lovely beer battered scallops and the pheasant casserole - very nice and full of flavour. My fiancé had the warm turkey ciabatta which he loved. The surroundings are beautiful including the outside stream and love the funny Black Country sign posts on the roadway through!

We went last night for the valentines set menu and the food was absolutely unreal. The best food I’ve had for a long time. So much effort had gone into the presentation, flavours, just the whole thing was absolutely delicious. Would recommend to anyone.

Just most fantastic, quirky place for a proper pub lunch and an ale. This place has to be see and experienced to be believed. A must stop pub!!

Called on the off chance lunchtime today to see if they were serving meals. A lovely young lady arranged a table for us and we were made to feel really welcome, so were our 3 dogs. She brought a bowl of water for them too. A lovely welcoming place, really friendly staff and lovely food. The customers were so friendly too. Will definitely be going back and definitely recommend.

Short visit this time, but will def be back. Such a unique place with both friendly clientele and staff.Photos just don't do it justice.It's not regular pub opening times, so check before visiting.The access road is an experience in itself 😅

Great food in a unique location!! We went on a Tuesday lunchtime, not sure if food would be available. Asked at the bar, and yes went through to the well appointed restaurant/conservatory, great choice on the menu. Had faggots and pays! and goats cheese salad, and a very fancy Italian ice cream desert with amaretto and espresso. Fine dining, black county style! Highly recommend, reduced hours at the moment best to check in advance

WOW!What a lovely little pub. And yes,very crooked.Haha. The staff were nice.And we saw they do food here too.Visit is a must.In Durley.Midlands.Look out for it if going through that way.
