Great pub excellent choice of beers, and fairly decent live music sat. nights

Beautiful beer, the food was spot on, the service was with a smile and great. Can't beat this pub for quality food, beer and atmosphere.

My last visit, the food was delicious, much better than a few weeks before where they couldn't do a runny egg with my gammon.

Absolutely awful, will not be going back again. Went here Saturday night and the food was overpriced and portions small. Had to send 1 meal back as it was burnt. Place has gone really rough. Gents toilets swimming in urine according the the men in our party . Dodgy customers too, not a good experience 😕

Very friendly staff and wholesome tasty pub food. Really enjoyed my visit and will be back again.

Ordered a Sunday dinner (beef) and the beef was too tough most of the gravy was spilling off the plate everytime l went to cut it. The young girl came & asked if l was happy l said that it was tough too chew, l wasn't offered anything else. So l said l would take it home & cook it myself.There was a odour of sewage wafting around the pub so that didn't help much either. I have had a Sunday dinner in the past but this wasn't up to standard like last time

Quietly enjoyed a drink in the Crown a few nights ago...it s a roomy placeto meet up with friends and /or family ! Not many folk there early evening....but at least you can get to the bar easily as well as hear yourself speak...Have been a customer there..although infrequently..for 48 years and always enjoy the beers etc!!Happy Xmas!!

Absolutely glorious!Spent a wonderful sunny Saturday here, the staff are polite and attentive. The food is beautiful (had Crab & Avocado on Toast with Halloumi fries and homemade salsa) was amazing.Easily one of the best pubs in the area, highly recommend, lovely atmosphere and the locals clearly love it; always a good sign!

Nicely decorated with some great ales. I tried one and opted for another: Green Monkey craft beer.Only disappointment was no hot food available till 5

Love the atmosphere here, and the bar at which you can hang your coat and sit down at... Awesome. Love it. Beers good too :)
