Garden Centre. Centre for garden stuff. I'm not into gardening or garden centres. I took my wife and my mother in law here. They were extremely happy. I did enjoy photographing some of the plants and looking at the fish. The restaurant was also quite nice. Decent lunch and friendly staff. If I ever develop a love of gardening, then I will come back.

The entrance to the garden centre starts of with a works shop which sells products that are good for children and people who enjoy arts and crafts hobbies. As you walk through the area you are able to see the garden furniture, I didn’t come to purchase garden furniture so am unable to comment on the pricing strategy.I firstly went to the aquarium section which sold a wide variety of different fish from brightly coloured fish that were distinguished to silver and grey fish. This means that the fish should match the majority of colour schemes that you may have when selecting fish. They also have some excellent snails which can help to keep your tank clean. The only limitation of their aquatic department is it lack invertebrates (such as shrimps and lobsters). Then I went to the indoor garden section. This had a variety of colourful plants and large house plants to spruce up your rooms with a little bit of greenery. They also had some cacti which are good for those who don’t want high maintenance plants. I was looking for plug plants on their greenhouse thing and discovered that their were some plants such as tomatoes and cucumbers but there was a lack of roasting veg such as cauliflower on offer when I visited. They do offer some sustainable composts that don’t contain peat.Overall, the garden centre is good but it does have some issues that need to be addressed before it becomes an outstanding place to visit. They need to offer more plug plants and a wider range of fish species.-beans

Really accessible if you are in a wheelchair, lots of parking and nice cafe with plenty of choice for food and drink. They have a good variety of garden furniture, plants and thing you might need for the garden and house. But the staff are so friendly and willing to help. I went into pain there and the staff couldn't do enough to help make me comfortable.

Nice little garden centre. Very good selection of seasonal bedding plants & perennials plus shrubs, grasses & even a few exotics. Cafe smelt good too.Prices are comparable to places like b&q too

Plants were ok but not brilliant. Good selection of garden furniture. Full of OAPs and the usual tat that attracts them.

Visited today with a view to buying a corner garden suite. We have been before as they have a nice range of quality furniture. We were however disappointed to find that the dog friendly tables they used to have in the covered area adjacent the restaurant have been removed and there are now no dog friendly places to sit and have a coffee or food. As we were going to debate our selection over a coffee with the dog we decided to go elsewhere that can accommodate us.Doubt we will visit again.

This placed used to be amazing and is still good but it seems the focus has shifted to tacky gifts and food in the huge restaurant, which was almost empty.Walking round there were many dying plants and hanging baskets with less than new linings and staff who were less than helpful when asked. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but who can blame them when looking at half price blinged up gold gnomes all day, that someone somewhere must have thought would sell! The clue is in the title, your a garden centre and if you can't get this bit right, no amount of diversification will help you survive.

Excellent garden centre with all expected shopping facilities and a wonderful cafe selling a delicious selection of cakes. Developed a lot since I last visited. Great place and will be visiting again soon.

I ordered a Charles Taylor twin-set chair unit “love-seat” by phone on Wednesday having seen it on Tuesday at the centre at a good sale price. A helpful lady said it could be delivered for free & I could pay for it on delivery. Another lady I spoke to this morning was also helpful in sorting a delivery time. It has just been delivered within the exact time frame I wanted by, again, an extremely helpful, charming young man who also put it in the place I wanted & moved an old bench from there to its new place in the garden. As a slightly disabled person I found all this extremely helpful. Thank you, everyone, for a great service.
