We were a little late to our booking but staff were very polite & took us straight to the table, we ordered drinks very quickly and Dan came back a few minutes later to take our food order. Our food was slow in arriving but as my friend & I were talking we didn't notice too much. Food was excellent and my Hake dish delicious. My friend wanted to try the banana chocolate bomb for dessert and said it was fabulous. A lively long lunch, well enjoyed by us both. Thank you team Whittington.

Totally disappointing taking my partner there for a date night. Service with drinks when sitting down was perfect service and quick from waitress. Then ordered a ham hock pie which was a disgrace. it was not a pie, it was a dish half full of garden peas mixed with a bit of ham, really £15 for that, the chips were awful and not chips, they were fried wedges and the veg dried up. My partners fish she liked but also she was not happy with the chips and what went with it, again £15 a joke. I was so embarrassed taking her there as the place looks the part but the food is below average, I am so glad I didn't order the overpriced steaks for your establishment. Absolutely shocked and I did mention I was not happy to the waitress about the terrible pie that costs that much. The whole point of going out and paying those prices is to not be able to cook a meal that represents that price bracket. The service was slow as I ended up going to bar myself to get drinks as you couldn't catch anyone's attention for a second drink. Very disappointed guys for what should have been a special night. Discussed this when bumping into a neighbour today and she said she had same experience of overpriced dry food so something is not right as that was months ago when she was there never to return.

Overly priced..food nice..Ale fish and chips..more batter than fish which was over cooked.... Too crispy!! Notice the people at next table who had also ordered fish n chips left most of the fish... Too dry. I asked waitress to ask for my fish not to be over fried!! Came overcooked!!!Rib eye steak delicious..Lovely ambience ☺️

Went to the Manor on Thursday for a bite to eat and a few drinks. Compliments to the bartender Ben as I had a brilliant mojito made and also amazing freshly made pizzas from the chef. Top marks

We arrived early & were greeted with a smile. Our table was ready so we were able to sit down straight away. Service was friendly & efficient and our meals were lovely. Great range of drinks too. My father-in-law who was visiting from Leeds said it was one of the best meals he’s had in a restaurant for a long time.

It was great. I called on the day and the lady on the phone helped me get a booking nice and easily. During the meal we were always well attended to and the serving team were so polite, approachable and attentive. The food and drink was amazing! There was a wait for the food but we were warned of this as soon as we came in. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

The place is beautifully decorated, spacious and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the service was quick. Unfortunately, there were no pizzas available but the other options were great; the main and dessert we had were brilliant. We had an early reservation and thought we may be asked to leave after our 2 hour slot was up, but we were not rushed and our waitress was attentive throughout. This was our first visit and we will definitely visit again.

First visit for our son's birthday, nice and spacious, big car park. Really nice tasty food and pleasant service. Would have given five stars if there was a little background music playing whilst eating and not chatting. Will definitely return!

What an absolute gem of a place this is. Easy to find. Great customer service. Good quality food. Reasonable value given where it is in the country. Recommended!

Really lovely homely-feel pub with fire pits outside, lovely to sit outside when it drops chilly at night. Delicious food (we ate during lockdown on a reduced menu, I had roast chicken with vegetables). The staff are super friendly. Highly recommended and will be returning.
