We stopped for some drinks at The Navigation Inn at Gnosall, whilst hiring the Canal boat for the day.Great service and a lovely pint of Guinness.Pub was very clean and tidy, very welcoming.......

Nice pub over looking the shropshire Union canal with good food and friendly staff

Brilliant food and such a lovely place and staff very friendly xx

Great location the sunshine helped but could have sat outside and watched the world pass by. A working canal passes by just outside although located on a busy road, could not hear traffic. Eaten there in the past food was of good standard. Only stayed for a drink outside with the dog who was made to feel welcome.

Another Gnossal canal side pub, easy to walk between the 2. Sadly no food on offer. Sat in the Tap room populated by locals. A bit noisy and let down a bit by the language being used. Worth a visit, but perhaps the other room would be better suited for families.

Fitted us in for a quick bite on a busy Easter Sunday. Burger was made in house and very tasty. Chips the same. Decent pint. Cheery service. A good local boozer and a solid choice for a pint and unpretentious food.

Always have a lovely Sunday roast dinner here. Lovely staff and a great location right on the canalside. Highly recommend eating here.

Great boater's pub, Guinness is kept just right and pub grub's good. Top draw gaffer and Mrs too πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜‰

Excellent, last minute table booking accepted over the phone and parked the canal boat right outside. Lovely food, great service.

Sunday 6th June 2021- Roast dinner lunch:We booked a roast dinner for today here and wow, it was absolutely delicious, fresh and homely cooked...perfect 10/10 score!!!Perfectly cooked, all delicious and so freshly made ....no frozen ingredients here at all! It's the first time I just didn't have room for a pudding although did have a tasty coffee and wee malt afterwards to help with digestion of our Roast dinner lunch.Thank you so much to Roy, (le chef) Clare, Torie and Kyle...you guys are absolute stars and we feel so at home here now and part of your lovely Navigation Inn familia..lol.Unfortunately we have to chug off tomorrow but we'll be back again most definitely!Stay safe, keep well and take care until we see you again at some point in the near future....One of our best favourite pubs on the canals. A perfect 10/10 score....πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘Monday 31st May 2021 to Thursday 3rd June 2021:Finally got back here again on various occasions as we met up with canal boat friends as well as our grown up kids too..The exception this time was visiting from the nearby visitor moorings where we moored up on our narrowboat....Fantastic food, great kept ale, good house Chardonnay, lovely atmosphere, outdoors garden and decking looking out onto the canal. Thanks Roy, Clare and Torie for making us feel totally at home, welcomed and your cheerful friendly and smiling service was totally appreciated!Until next time, stay safe and well....We've driven past on numerous occasions as well as on the canal on our narrow boat and always wanted to venture into the Navigation Inn. Finally on a rather blustery day in October whilst driving through Gnosall yet again from our family in Stafford, we decided to pop in to have a drink. Even though the lunch service had finished, we were welcomed by the landlord. The wine was good and although no guest ales were on tap due to delivery, I had a Bank's amber ale which was good. We sat outside as we wanted to see the canal and must say, the beer garden is big and the 48 hour moorings for canal boaters is great; certainly give it another visit during spring or summer?
